My rice was mushy as hell. Mac and cheese DRY and Bland. The only thing that was good was the actual curry chicken that’s it. So disappointed. 1st and last time eating here
Very tasty authentic Caribbean food! Really can’t go wrong. The staff was very friendly and made sure that our meals were prepared to our liking. My friends and I also visit this spot whenever we vacation in the area.
1st time here. I'm from Brooklyn, NY and I definitely know what authentic Caribbean food taste like. This is authentic. I ordered a large oxtails meal and a red pea soup. Everything was delicious. I shall be back!
Ordered for the past three days and the food is excellent. Today I ordered another curry chicken plate and it tastes so good.
The food was delicious. Especially the roti and fish soup. We were visiting from of town. The service was top notch
The oxtail plate never disappoints. So good with plantains rice beans and extra gravy with sweet potatoes and greens. Always a great experience and the prices have gone up but they have everywhere. So you get what you pay for at Lawrence Carribean. I have tried a lot in the city. ..this one is hands down the best

I'm not sure what all the bad reviewers are looking for. I ordered the oxtail plate. It came with rice and beans, cabbage, and Mac. Every bite was delicious: authentic and tasty Caribbean food. I've been in Charlotte for 5yrs and this is the best out of the ones I've tried. My only criticism would be that my oxtail were kinda small. It's pricey but the portions are enough for 2 servings and it was just as good (if not better) the 2nd time around. Two ?

Still the BEST Jamaican Restaurant in Charlotte in 2022!!! The only Restaurant that knows how to make Authentic Oxtails!!!! Homemade Sorrel and Ginger beer on point!!!
