Went for breakfast there on 6/26. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. I had an omelet with grits and a biscuit. I managed to eat about 3/4 of my breakfast and was full for most of the day. Their prices have not gone up (maybe a little) but it was still very reasonable. My meal was about $12 with coffee (before tip). They have had to remove smoked salmon from the menu because of cost, so be aware of that. Oh, and spend a moment gazing longingly at the desert case, it is quite impressive. If anything speaks to you, don't hesitate to take it home with you, I've been happy with the deserts I've had there, just didn't get any on this visit.
Excellent breakfast with a friend from out of town. I had the most awesome service I've had there in a long time. Amy was excellent! I would recommend asking for her if you want smiling, friendly, prompt service! Our bill was $30 (but we had a lot), and I gave her $10. She truly was a breath of fresh air, especially in this day and time!!
Friendly service (Laurie was amazing!) the breakfast was delicious and very cost effective! The biscuits were buttery & large, country ham was thick, delicious with a smokey flavor. Soio good! My friend and I shared some dessert (traditional Cheesecake & chocolate mousse cake) that was out of this world! Fresh, hot coffee. We will definitely go back!!
My son and I love this diner and go here all the time! He loves the old fashioned breakfast options and the service is typically fantastic.Tip: there are two rushes on Sunday mornings, one for the early birds at 9:30 and one for the church crowd around 11:30 - try to miss that rush!
I'm kinda picky eater but they have so many dishes to pick from. My favorites are the young Tom turkey with dressing, marinaded beef tips with peppers, onions and mushrooms, the marinaded grilled flounder and the seafood fettuccine. These are ALWAYS GOOD over the years I've been there. It's not exactly CHEAP BUT you get GREAT FOOD, HEALTHY PORTIONS AT A REASONABLE PRICE CONSIDERING WHAT YOU GET. THE SERVERS ARE CURTIOUS AND FRIENDLY. ??
Food was good, especially the pancakes and omelette. Service was good, it was brunch time so a lot of people but a lot of room. I’ll make a different decision as far as a sandwich but everything else was real good. I recommend
Best diner on EARTH. The Landmark is the best food and the best value that can be found. The extent of the menu is mind-boggling and breakfast is served at any hour, as well as "non-breakfast" meals being available at any hour. They do a fabulous job with take out and specials are offered daily. You cannot go wrong at The Landmark because it is a WELL-OILED machine that turns out perfect service and delicious food. It's a total WINNER.
Fantastic for breakfast! Quick friendly service. Challah French toast light airy and soooo good!: Sausage and gravy hit the spot too! Highly recommend for that diner breakfast experience!
First time going but it won't be my last. The waitress was nice and we were able to order with no issues. I ordered the beef tips, with cabbage, and mashed potatoes. It was very good. Needed a little salt, but very good. Reasonably priced and service was great.
Long time since last visited this restaurant. Not bad, just not on my radar most of the time. Clean, food was good, service was good and prices in line with comparative restaurants. No waiting for table, I think we just missed the lunch crowd. This place just doesn't do anything for me and is out of my normal travel routes, so will likely be awhile before I go here again. I think you should give it a try though, because it's a good restaurant, and might work for you.
