The restaurant has a cute atmosphere . The cheese dip and taco salad were good . My daughter did not like the chicken in the ACP. The prices are expensive for lunch . It was $42 for two people. The prices would be fine for dinner .
I love this place. The ceviche is amazing. And the grande burrito is filling and tasty!
I've been visiting the restaurant for 3 years, now I have to drive 35 minutes to go there but I do it happy: I enjoy the food, the drinks and the music. the owners try to keep everything good and friendly. The renovation of the patio is lovely, super comfortable to enjoy in any season. Margaritas are always great! Servers always friendly and bartenders nice too! This 5 de mayo they surprise me with a new menu, live music and a Dj .... Great party!
As a Texas native, it is incredibly hard to find good authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex around the Charlotte area. This is one of the few gems. My wife and I have been getting takeout from here for a few years now on a regular basis and occasionally eating in (we pretty much did only take out throughout COVID). Their service is always been excellent. They've always given us estimates as to how long it was going to take to make the food and they're usually pretty close. They rarely make errors (and we have a fairly complicated order because my wife is gluten intolerant and cannot have flour tortillas), and after the 50+ visits we've made, we've only had a handful of mistakes happen and they've been awesome every time about fixing the problem. The food is amazing. I often get the enchiladas supremas because I love the variety and in sauces and types of enchiladas. My wife gets there Texas burrito with corn tortillas instead of the flour tortillas. And the two staples of any Mexican restaurant, the rice and the salsa, are both phenomenal. I'm definitely fanboying a little bit, but there's a reason why we have continued to go back so many times
Worst Mexican Restaurant in Charlotte from the customer service to the food. Was charged double without giving me a price like they were secretly hoping I just didn’t look at the receipt. Wasn’t given correct order, the food I did receive was similar to dog food. (I got something with chopped up hot dogs in it like I could’ve made that at my house, and probably would’ve tasted better) I promise any other Mexican restaurant that you can possibly find will be better than this place.
Good food. Nice atmosphere.
This place is a little bit on the expensive side for your everyday Mexican restaurant....that being said, we still order from here a few times a month. Our order is always correct, hot and fresh. The employees are all so nice and the ladies that answer the phone are so helpful.
Food was delicious!! We came in with a large group (15 people), but we're seated immediately. Despite the restaurant being short staffed, we were attended to in a very timely manner, with friendly service. Everyone raved over their food, some of the best Mexican food we've had. If in the area again, I'd love to stop back in!
We previously did not enjoy the food here, but recently they must have stepped up their game. I had a Chicken Primavera that was great. My wife had mixed nachos that were also wonderful. They still seemed a bit short staffed, but that’s true of many restaurants in the area.Worth the wait. Great margaritas.
Menu options were decent. Wait staff was incredibly friendly & patient with our family of 6. Food was good but not 5 star good. We are newer to the area (from the Chicago area) and still exploring the options available for Mexican restaurants.
