Whoo hoo I found yet another spot that I will be visiting strictly for empanadas. Now I love me a good empanada.Best of all La Caseta is located in Camp north end food stalls so it's always some sort of entertainment of some sort going on there for the most part .We tried a variety of the food items from the tacos , empanadas, & chicken arepas . The chicken arepa also won me over big time .The dipping sauces adds a little extra spice to any and everything on their menu . You can't come here and not order a Jarritos to wash it all down with . When you go do it for the culture ! I'll definitely be sure to peep my head in here every time I'm in the area .
Good Latin food is very hard to find in Charlotte. This place definitely is one of the good ones, not a fan of the pricing but understandable to who they are catering to in the area. Food is still very good, I wish there were a few more options in meats for the tacos, and maybe a couple more dishes. Overall very good food, and nice staff.
The tacos and pupusas are great. Might be the best Al Pastor taco in Charlotte.
I’ve been here twice now, and it’s delicious! Everything hits the spot! I’ve got to try their pupusas and they’re perfection. My sister gets the tacos and loves them!
When I got here and saw the prices I was a little reluctant. But then I tried the pastor taco definitely worth it.

Located in the North End Complex this is a hole in the wall gem! In all of North Carolina, this is the only place where I have seen them do tacos Al Pastor the way they are suppose to be done, on a stand up Rotisserie with layers of onions & pineapples. Their tacos are very traditional. The Argentinian Empanadas are also traditional with meat and olives…..yes, olives inside. The pastry is the proper format and consistency. Only outdoor seating available but that’s ok. The ladies are very friendly and efficient. You want a Real Taco……this is the place!
Very pleasant, nice food, small portions for the price but good quality food. Pretty sure we were missing a dish but no receipt and with 3 of us ordering there was a little confusion. We would visit again if in the area.
