Pretty disappointed in the food and the service. We sat at the bar for almost 20 minutes after our reservation was scheduled for because they didnât have a table open. We were there for 3 hours, and had to ask for water refills 4-5 times because it was never offered. They kept trying to take our wine glasses even though we were waiting on a bottle of wine to come to the table (which took about 30 minutes). The appetizers were delicious but the entrees were not cooked to specification and lacked any type of seasoning. They were also out of two of the dishes requested. Finally after not seeing our waitress for over 30 minutes, I had to go to the bar to get our check. We were not offered to go boxes even though we had food left on the table. Overall a pretty terrible experience considering how expensive the restaurant was. Bar staff was super great!
Very amazing food, the wait time to actually get your food was very long I will say but the ambience made it not so bad, definitely good value for money.
I love this restaurant. The staff and service are always amazing!! La Belle Helene literally has the best hamburgers I have ever tasted. Keep up the good cooking!!
Dinner before a show downtown. We had steak frites and salmon. Dinner was great and service was excellent

Visited for a working lunch. Elegant space with a beautiful, long bar. Brilliant flowers everywhere. The food was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the French onion soup, my colleague felt the same about the tomato bisque w/grilled cheese. The Croque Monsieur & Le Steak Burger were both phenom! Jewel & the rest of the staff were attentive and friendly. Will be back.
We dine at LBH regularly for dinner before the theatre so thought I'd do a business lunch there. The chicken salad sandwich was disappointing. Served on largely stale bread and the chicken salad itself was not well cleaned. Lots of inedible pieces to remove from your bites. Served with likely bagged kettle chips versus an in-house side.
Overrated. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service was excellent. The actual food however was not tasty at all. Fish was fishy, beef was tough, and dessert was dry.

Very nice experience on a Sunday night at La Belle Helene! Food and service were top-notch. We have been there several times and it has always been good. Thanks to all the staff!
