First time ive ever posted a review. I eat at La Autentica at least twice a week and love the food. However, today at lunch get the bill at the end and the prices are 3 or 4 $ higher than usual. I say something to the waiter and he tells me well those are the dinner prices. I said well its lunch time and we ordered off the lunch menu. Eventually I said thats fine just bring the check I give my card the customer copy is my order but the other bill to sign is another tables. I get charged for both but because I noticed got the other meal sent back to my card. If I didnt notice it wouldve charged both. I thought all of this couldve been handle by simply the employee saying my apologies we'll only charge you for the lunch portion and at worst its them giving up $7 for their own mistake instead of trying to argue with me every step of the way then bringing out the wrong bill. After all this the waiter said it was this new girl he was trying to train but he brought the bill out. Very frustrating experience today considering I eat there all the time. If it's any consolation the food is very very good.
The service was nice and I really liked my tacos, especially the pastor one. The green sauce that comes with the chips is amazing, like creamy verde avocado with some spice to it (I didn't care for the red ones). Their Tuesday taco deal was selected tacos $1 per piece if you buy a drink.
When my fiancée and I first arrived to the location, we were immediately seated inside and got served beverages right away. Shortly after placing our orders for food, we decided we wanted to sit outside because the weather was perfect for it. The service and food themselves were fantastic. The entire staff was very attentive and hospitable. Not too long into eating my carne asada, a group of friends arrived with their dogs. I was not disturbed by the presence of the animals, as they appeared to be service animals. But I was disturbed by the fact that the owner of one of the dogs commanded the dog to hop onto the table. What bothered me even more was that none of the staff seemed bothered by this. No one politely told the owner that this was inappropriate. I thought of returning to this location because the atmosphere was wonderful and the food was great, but I’m a bit grossed out by the privilege animals have to lay where people eat.
Super fun place to go for taco Tuesday if you don't mind waiting a few minutes. The tacos are good if you pick the right ones. The crunchy pork and the beef tongue are absolutely delicious along side the house margarita.
Food is tasty..the service is super nice and attentive..waitress lily was good..I recommended the house margarita
The presentation looks great. The food lacks flavor and the food is super gentrified. Got a take out order for tacos after getting recommendations to try this place. Got home and found out the tacos all had lettuce and not onion & cilantro. Will not be returning.
Called and placed a take out order. Was told it would be ten minutes. Arrived at restaurant fifteen minutes later and no one could find the order..? Even though on the phone they verified I was calling the right location. So they made up a fake order, got it wrong, but still charged my card.Waited over 30 minutes from there with zero assistance.I don’t care how good their food is, or how short staffed they are, their service (especially customer service) is absolutely awful. For that reason I can’t recommend this place at all.
Chimichanga with no cheese? Not sure if the restaurant is to blame or the food delivery service. Either way, we couldn't get the entire feel of the food because things were missing. If you're going to order take out, just order the food and pick it up yourself. That way it ensures that you get everything.
Great local spot. Highly recommend, and don't miss taco Tuesday. ?
Didn’t get the chance to take a picture of my chilaquiles before I devoured them so no picture but they were delicious ? super friendly service and the food came out pretty quickly. 10/10 would recommend ?
