Absolutely LOVE this place. My favorite is definitely that Shanghai Rice (level 1 spicy), with Samosas or either Naan Bread ?!!Love it here putting you on now!! Definitely try this.
We get Kind of Spicy delivered regularly! The flavors are phenomenal. I have not had anything from here I did not enjoy. But, word of warning, if you are on the fence about spice, only order a 1 or 2 level. The higher levels are the spiciest dishes I have ever had from a restaurant (which I like, but can be hard for my husband). Definitely worth a try! It the ambiance isn't for you -- get take out or delievery!
I’ve been going to king of spicy for years. It has the most broad menu I think I’ve ever seen Indian food-wise, and everything on it I’ve ever had has been amazing. I’ve recommended this place to soooo many people and it’s always beat out the competition. It’s a smaller “hole in the wall” type place, but most people know that those are the best!!
The food was really good and flavorful. They have a range of spicy from 1-10 and even 1 was still a bit spicy. 9 was out of this world! Gulab jamun was amazing! If you have any food allergies or are vegan, the lady who picks up the phone knows exactly what goes into each dish. I have food sensitivities and she was able to help me pic a meal that would not give me any issues.
The food at this restaurant is PHENOMENAL. My husband and I struggled to find authentic Indian food for the first few years after we moved to Charlotte, but haven't had to try another restaurant since finding this hidden gem. Don't let the shopping center/are of town scare you off. Everything is so delicious you will not care once you take your first bite! We've tried the naan, tandoori chicken, vegetable korma, chicken tiki masala, palak paneer, and the pakora. Now that we've moved to another part of town, we frequently order delivery and it arrives perfect every time.

The food was good. When we went it was dead. The person that sat us just brought water automatically. The food was very spicy even at a 2 or 3 which I liked.
Great meal. Wonderful experience. An unsung restaurant. Wish they would adversities themselves more. Give them a try.
