A Charlotte staple! They’ve been here forever. I’ll be honest, I am not big on burritos. These burritos are the ONLY ones that I will eat. Very flavorful and Johnny ALWAYS creates an awesome atmosphere for customers. First time customers get a free bottle-opener (don’t forget to grab one). If you’re visiting from out of town, this place is a MUST!
Tried this place while visiting Charlotte for a convention. Only took a few minutes to walk here from Charlotte convention center. The line looked long, but moved quickly. There was a guy that came through the line, handed out “rookie” cards for first time customers and explained the ordering process, which was very helpful. Was a little daunting to keep up the ordering pace, but everyone including Johnny himself was so friendly and I didn’t feel terribly rushed. The food is DELICIOUS. Definitely a fun and satisfying experience.
One of the most friendly and kind lunch experiences I can recall. Amazing food, really fair pricing, fast service. If you love Mexican, this place is a must visit!
Delicious! This place is so unbelievably good - found it while wandering around downtown Charlotte and it was a gem. The owner and staff are so friendly and the food was incredible. Don’t miss it!!!
God bless Johnny Burrito. If you work in the area and enjoy eating at Chipotle, give this place a shot on your lunch break, you won't be disappointed I guarantee it. The food is insanely good and the value is amazing for food in uptown. This is my new favorite lunch spot, fast and delicious.
Somebody please tell me where you can get a better burrito. I doubt you can. Love this place. Huge burritos and they are not stingy with the fillings. My go to spot for lunch!
A great lunch option if you live or work uptown. Friendly local businesspeople who treat customers well. You can get a burrito or a bowl and fill it with whatever you want. The grande steak burrito is my favorite.
All around great experience… used to go there almost once a week when we were in the office. Fresh, authentic food and some of the most friendly ownership/staff you’ll find in the food industry.
Nice place and nice people. I ordered veg nachos only. Must to visit. I feel they should also have an option to get non gmo food items.
We bumped into this place more or less by accident, wandering around Charlotte, NC while waiting for a connecting flight to Germany. Thank you for saving us from starving! Not only the food but also the great hospitality makes Johnny Burritos to one of the best burrito places we have ever been to.
