Excellent food at good prices. Always friendly service also.

Service was very good and restaurant is nice and clean. I came here because they have really good reviews saying they have the best southern food. However, the food is extremely bland I got a veggie plate. The best thing I had there was the salad with ranch. The fried squash had no flavor and the rice and gravy was just awful. Everything tasted extremely bland. There was absolutely no flavor. My friend got the flounder but it tasted like there was no seasoning whatsoever on anything. Needless to say this is not the best southern food it is fresh but lacks flavor tremendously.

Food and Service are excellent. The only reason I dropped a star is because they removed STUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS off the menu. They were delicious!!!! Exactly like my mother use to make them. She said they take too much time to make.As a result. I will NOT be back.

Nice, friendly, family-style restaurant. A wide variety of items, although the menu can look a bit cluttered with choices. Parking is plentiful, and they have a rear dining room, suitable for a large group.

Don't let the simplistic, relaxed ambience fool you, this place does mostly everything right! Good service, accomodating staff, flavorful-but-not-over-the-top dishes, and surprisingly large portion sizes make John's a near-perfect casual dining experience!

Cashier [Owner] was so funny, which made our dining there a place we would definitely go to on the regular. The waitress stayed pleasant even after requesting things everytime we seen her. Her reaction was so noticeable of her skills & talent. Food was delicious & it touch the soul of soul food[American].

John I am 21 years old and I have been going to your restaurant since I was 4 years old. I always came with my grandparents Martha and Paul. I love your food so much, I always get the spaghetti and I’m always satisfied every time I come. My favorite part is the soup we get as our appetizers, it’s my favorite soup by far I’ve ever had.

I had not been to John's in a long time, but had not changed. I ordered one of the lunch specials. There are many specials and vegetables to choose from. The Flounder, cole slaw, fried squash and cornbread was hot and delicious. Their sweet tea is very good as well. Service was timely and very courteous. I highlyrecommend John's for lunch and dinner.

If you haven’t given Johns a chance you ought to. As you can see by the pictures I’ve been here a few times. I stopped in today (1/7/22) and had the prime rib sandwich. It was damn good ??? Food is always delicious. It is Southern comfort food. It just hits your soul with each bite. Gotta order the daily specials. Yes it changes everyday. So you gotta check ‘em out everyday. You can order online and you can find the specials online too.

The restaurant was clean but overall I wasn't impressed. Cardboard has more flavor than their pizza. The crust was blah, It was very lacking of toppings and sauce. They messed up an order at our table but it was promptly fixed. Unfortunately they were out of numerous food items listed on the menu but this seems to be the the normal for most places now to the pandemic.I didn't like the fried pickles. They are spears and very crunchy. This restaurant is probably more appropriate for senior citizens with sensitive palettes as everything I tried lacked flavor and that was the general consensus of our entire group.
