If you like good food and like to enjoy the taste of good food, you will not be disappointed. By far a wonderful restaurant. Waiters and waitresses are incredible and the food is unbelievably good! I come here every Friday night and the barbecue never ceases to amaze me. Every time I come here, my taste buds go on an incredible adventure.
This amazing restaurant has the best food I have ever ate. I recently moved to the area and then wanted to try it. We got our seats immediately and was kindly tested by the wait staff. When our food came out, there was a lot more than I expected. The food was also hot and not cold. Comfortable seats, and once again, the best wait staff ever! I hope you try and have the same experience as me.
My first time ordering (Ubeteats)from this restaurant. I was really pleased.I ordered a couple of dishes, as opposed to a "dinner meal".Since I'm new to area, Iam trying to experience various restaurants.I had the Brisket Chilli, chicken tenders, coleslaw, and potato salad.
Let's be honest here...my wife and I are BIG fans of Jim N' Nicks since we first encountered them years ago on King Street in Charleston. We visited them in the Savannah, GA area on a recent road trip and received a $5 off code for completing a customer satisfaction survey, and this visit was our opportunity to use that discount. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming hostess, who bypassed several empty tables near a large and noisy group to seat us further back where things would be more quiet...very thoughtful. Our server, Cierra, picked up where the hostess ended, with a friendly approach as well. She had recently relocated to Charlotte from Arizona, one of our favorite places, and we chatted a bit about both places. As usual, my wife and I shared a pulled pork plate, with baked beans and potato salad. The food arrived quickly, as usual for a BBQ joint, and was delicious. And the best part? Those cheese biscuits! We could make a meal of them alone! It was an excellent experience, as usual, and we were happy to see another survey request on our receipt...which means another $5 discount within the next 30 days! Went here for dinner last week with the family. Never tried this place but it had great reviews. What was weird was I had a reservation and then when we got to the restaurant we were told we all couldn’t sit together. Minor hiccup the manager took care of, no big deal really just a little odd. Everything we ordered came out fresh and hot. I ordered the ribs with potato salad and collard greens. Presented well but the ribs were really fatty. Overall I’ve had better bbq but the interior was inviting.
Came during lunch on a weekday not busy at all, which I liked. Got a brisket sandwich, which was great! Everything was so freaking yummy. The collard greens, Mac and cheese and fries were so good. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich. AMAZING HE SAID! Decently priced for lunch but kinda overly priced for dinner items if you want that real BBQ! Speedy and talkative staff. Good customer service!
The best BBQ I have I ever had eat… I don’t like Mac and cheese, but theirs was just delicious! Everything was so amazing, the flavors all combined made it so yummy. The bbq sauce omg!!
We rode past this place a few times, while waiting over 2 hrs for Texas Roadhouse and after checking in with TXRH and being told we still have 30 names ahead of us, we went to Jim n Nicks, waiting all of 10 mins and get the text from TXRH that our table was ready, oh well we wasn't leaving. The food here is amazing. Our waitress was so nice and polite, she checked on us often. The complimentary cheese biscuits are so delicious, we were worried they wouldn't be good but they were sweet like corn bread muffins. The pulled pork, original pork, burgers, beans and fries were all good. Can't wait to try them again when in the area.
Better experience than last time, albeit mid pandemic at the time. Waitress was friendly. The ribs were great, although seemed like the cut was wrong. Fries with chili brisket is good. The place was clean and the ambiance is fair. The TV's seem like a good idea, but need some upgrading (small).
