Used to be the best sushi in Ballantyne but over the last few years the luster of the restaurant has diminished a bit.
Food was decent, Staff was friendly. We went on a Sunday night and there was only one other couple there, so not busy at all. Items forgotten, no Wasbi with our Sushi, Miso soups forgotten but we were charged for them. I asked if they have anything special for my wife’s birthday, the gentleman said he would bring out a chocolate dessert, also forgotten. Overall experience was a bit disappointing.
My husband and I love this sushi spot! Our favorites are Sexy Salmon, Maguro Madness, Ballantyne Roll, and the real mvp- Lady in Pink.We’ve come with friends & kids who aren’t sushi fans and they love their potstickers!
Ambiance is meh, but really enjoyed some of the sushi roles
I wish I took a picture of the sushi I had tonight… it literally looked like a sushi that would come out of a Chinese buffet. Way below average but waiter was nice and checked on us multiple times. Will not return

Worst lo mein, and cold the shrimp was cooked separately and previously from the noodles with no flavor and cold, the excessive amount of carrot, over power the dish with a strong earthy flavor, good amount of shrimp tho' ...the staff was good
Chris gave me and my girlfriend expert service. The food was just as great, the 7 flavor beef is awesome. Will definitely be returning
Jade is delicious! The sushi variety complimented by options like Crispy Sesame, Fried Rice, and the various shrimp dishes make for an excellent meal.
Bad service stay away. My husband and I waited 20 minutes after we were seated and we were never acknowledged. We stood up and left and the hostess proceeded to say “have a great night.” Are you serious? When we explained to her that no one ever came by she was like “Omg come back it will be a few more minutes but someone will be with you” Thank you but no thanks. I will take my business somewhere else.
