Spectacular decor. Like, seriously... Worth a visit just to see the "North Korean Chic" use of cement and metal. The wall art and light fixtures won't fail to WOW the eye.I haven't ordered the MAIN ATTRACTION (in-table, DIY BBQ grills). Instead, I have opted for the smaller-portioned "bar menu" items. After multiple visits, I can honestly say the Iron Dish consistently delights (and feeds) my eyes AND my tummy. Mmm!The new cocktail menu is so fun! We tried the Soju cocktail flight and loved the presentation and sweet/fruity flavors. The Iron Dish does NOT have a wine selection, which surprised me. But I enjoyed the Prosecco, for $8/glass.If you get a chance to sit at the bar, chat with Alex, a like-minded foodie. Pick his brain for menu recommendations and other awesome Charlotte restaurants. I can't wait to check out his suggestions. The owners have another restaurant, 704, in Pineville. If I find myself in the area, I will certainly check it out. Especially if the interior decor is as awesome as the Iron Dish!

This was my first time eating Korean Food, and this was the perfect place to have a wonderful experience. My neice treated me to a beautiful meal and the Customer Service was superb. Will return when I come back to North Carolina.

This was my first time with a couple of friends! Honestly customer service was great and server was VERY attentive and helpful! Personally I enjoyed the corn cheese although it’s a bit on the sweet side. The beef bulgogi, beef brisket, spicy chicken were great! I definitely recommend the dumplings as well! Price is well worth it! Also tried a bottle of banana makkeoli !

Great quality! The meats are all good quality and marinated well, where applicable. Most of the time the quantity is good, my only complaints really are when you ask for brisket they bring you TONS, so you end up filling up that. You can ask for a reduced portion of anything it's just nice if they standardized serving sizes. In LA you get 3.5oz or 7oz servings no matter what so you kinda know what you are in for. Here the beef tongue is probably close to the 3.5oz, where the brisket is like 12oz or smith crazy.Staff seem overwhelmed at opening, I think to ease the burden the restaurant should have more people ready at that time rather than trying to force a handful of people to do the main work. Korean BBQ is busy work for waitstaff! These are just minor complaints, I go to Iron Dish everytime I venture down to Concord, I love it there :)

The food and service is always good. Spicy pork belly is great. Two menus are available. The cocktails are good too. Sometimes the wait is really long though. That's the only negative with this place.

First time here and it was great! Our party of 4 came here on a Saturday for dinner. We were seated quickly. You get 2 hours to eat whatever you want off the menu! The staff were friendly and informative. The food was fresh and delicious! The beef and chicken bulgogi were my favorites. Would definitely come here again!

Large portions. Decent cuts and selection. Bar is a plus as well.

Carolyn Q was great she really made my dinner great. It was the first time ever trying this places. Thank y’all for the great food I would highly recommend. But make sure you don’t eat all day. That’s good is great??????

The worst Korean BBQ restaurant in Charlotte!!! Upon walking in we were greeted by very rude hostesses that wouldn’t sit us without face masks (there’s no mask mandate in NC right now) even though half their waiters had their masks under the nose and the kitchen staff had no masks whatsoever (we were seated by the kitchen and could see inside). We were treated very rudely and spoken to in a very disrespectful way that I did not appreciate! The food sucked too. The beef brisket was mostly fat (more like bacon than beef brisket), the shrimp had a terrible fishy taste, the beef tongue was very dry, the pickled radish was not fresh (had brown spots), the pickled spicy vegetables was mostly pieces of onion. The service was the worst we’ve had at a Korean BBQ. You have to wait forever for the waiter to come up to you and refill your drink or bring you more meats. It was my first time trying this Korean BBQ restaurant and after such a disappointing experience and encountering such rude staff I would not come back here again. There are much better Korean BBQ restaurants in town!!!

My girlfriend and I celebrated our one year anniversary here and it was awesome!! Our server John truly made the experience unforgettable. He was super super nice and gave us a lot of great recommendations and helped us with the menu. Definitely will be recommending to friends and will be returning very soon, as long as we get John as our waiter again.
