Our first time here and we was looking for a good Jamaican restaurant to eat at Al I came across someone one Instagram complementing about the food here so we did try to come by and try it yesterday. First I waited in line which was pretty long but they got everybody‘s order and we had to wait so I ordered the jerk chicken wish they ran out of this was around 12:30 PM so then I ask for curry chicken which they ran out of so I ended up getting Brown stew chicken and then my daughter ordered the sweet-and-sour salmon. I understand that place is due be busy and that it does take 20 minutes to cook the salmon but we ended up waiting 40 minutes and he apologized for that which we understood so we came home sat down decided to eat our food. I gave it a three for the simple fact that the sweet-and-sour salmon had barbecue sauce on it wasn’t sweet or sour at all I felt the macaroni and cheese was pretty much dry I don’t know if he sat in the steamer for too long but it had no flavor the rice and peas was good and the brown stew chicken has been really didn’t care for it at all. We also had beef patties my family didn’t care for those either. Overall it was OK not much to rave about though.
Food was delicious. Curry chicken was on point
Best Jamaican spot I’ve ever been to. The food is hot and delicious. I literally ate my food in 4 minutes or less. I highly recommend this spot. However, I did try the macaroni and wasn’t so good but all the other food overall makes up for it. Not everything will be perfect but it did lack a lot of flavor in the Mac- N-cheese. I still give the food five stars because every time I come, it’s really amazing.
always great food, great customer service, great vibes!!!
I’m sorry for the folks who gave this place hype as a Caribbean woman WHO knows food authenticity I would’ve giving this place 5 0’s if I could. Please do not waste money coming here. GROSS
We Visited as soon as they opened & everything was Hot, Fresh & very Delicious. We will definitely be returning when we come to town. Jerk chicken, rice & peas & collard greens were delicious
Really Really Good I got the brown stewed chicken rice n beans with mac n cheese everything was hot and fresh my husband got the curry chicken rice n beans and collard greens his was also delicious. We ate outside on the patio with music playing good food and good vibe will definitely be returning
The people here are extremely nice and food is awesome. I wanted to try something new, and a co-worker recommended this place to me and I'll tell you what!!! I'm glad she did and I'll be back AGAIN. The best part is I can stop here on my way to work. If you want to try something different; try this place plus they load up the plate. Not too expensive; very affordable. Support your local small restaurants.
Way too expensive for the portions…food is decent but price is outrageous…no true Jamaicans give such small portions! P.s. $22 to eat cow butt is insane!! I see several people saying good portion size…old creviews because now the portion size is like wow!
My first visit the food was so good I had to return! The stew chicken is amazing! The mac n cheese is delicious and the rice n peas with gravy is over the top. So glad I was introduced to this spot.?Next platter was the sweet chili salmon. It smelled good and looked good. The plate was a little "lite" for $18.? I feel like they should add a little more to it. My 13yo demolished it in no time.?I will definitely revisit again.BTW, it was packed in there. They managed the orders pretty well. No social distancing observed.? But everyone had on a mask.?We ate on the outside patio to avoid the crowd. Only thing missing was some music.
