So last night I ordered through grub hub. Cookies were supposed to arrive by 9:30. They never arrived. I tried tacking on GrubHub but had to call insomnia cookies. I called was told there will be no more deliveries due to a system error and my $32 would be refunded. This morning I open my door and there is in Insomnia cookie box laying on the ground full of ants! I am so pissed… no one called or rung my bell. This is unacceptable and bad business.
I went to Insomnia cookies this week and I could not stand it inside. The AC is broken as it was over 90 degrees inside! Also the ovens make it even hotter! I feel bad for the workers there as they looked hot and sweaty. How can you put employees in this type of environment? It is like leaving a kid or dog in a car that is over 90 degrees! Something must be done to fix this.
The employee taking orders, white male with longish hair was so rude. I kindly asked for 12minis and he said no and I asked how long it would take and gave me an attitude so I just said never mind. He then proceeded to take the next persons order with the nicest attitude(they were white) I honestly felt uncomfortable and very unhappy with my experience at insomnia cookies and this was my first time coming here. Never coming here again, i honestly felt like he was being racist because I wasn’t the only colored person he got an attitude with and when it was a white persons turn he was kind to them. Terrible service. Won’t see me here again.
I used to love these cookies but I shouldn't have to download an app to get a cookie. Why do you refuse to serve people who are in line? Because you have pick up orders. Cant just walk-in and grab a cookie because everything is reserved for app orders. Place sucks service wise as well.
I must say this was by far the WORST experience (Friday, May 13, 2022, between 6-7pm) I have ever had at an Insomnia store.I have been to the locations in New Orleans, St Louis, and Oxford, Ms all of those stores provided a quality product with quality service.What makes a franchise a franchise is consistency with regard to product quality and service, both of which were lacking at the Tryon store. My brownie and cookies were stale, cold, hard, and should have been thrown away! I was definitely disappointed with what was in the box when I arrived home, I was really upset about wasting money on something subpar.It is my hope that you all raise your standards soon.
Worst insomnia I’ve been to. They had a hand written sign on the door that said “closed temporarily. Will open shortly”. There were 8 people standing outside waiting to go in and one of the employees opened the door and in the rudest tone ever told us they were closed. We said we see and we’re waiting since the sign said they would open shortly. She said it’ll be a few hours and yelled at us all to leave then slammed the door on us. I’ll never go to that location again
This was my first time every having insomnia cookies. I got a gluten free chocolate chip, regular chocolate chunk, confetti, sugar, oat meal raisin and double chocolate chip. Most of the cookies were just coming out the oven, however the worker was moving them with the spatula and they were breaking probably because they was too warm. The lobby got very busy while I was there and I was first in line. Just moving rather slow when helping customers.
We came to visit the cafe next door but when I saw Insomnia Cookies, I couldn't resist. I was even more excited that they had several vegan cookie options. I got the birthday cake and it was delicious.
Tried the oatmeal chocolate cookies and they were delish. A bit pricey for just two cookies, but they gotta make a living somehow lol. They have a great variety of cookies to chose from so I will definitely go back to try something else in the near future.
The customer service is great! But let's talk about the cookies ?? My goodness!! They are so damn delicious and soft. They melt in your mouth. My faces: Oatmeal Raisin, Snickerdoodle and Oatmeal Chocolate Walnut!!
