I ordered a 12 pack with 2 additional specialty cookies on doordash pickup. When I arrived the cookies were not ready. He prepared my order under the counter and then he handed me a 12 pack box. I asked if all 12 plus the other 2 were in the box and he said yes. I got to my office and saw I was shorted 3 cookies. The phone just rings and rings and I can't seem to get a hold of anyone at corporate. This location is bad don't go here.
Cookies are actually pretty good. A little on the rich side for my liking but understandable for the price and the audience. The main reason for this rating is the ice cream. If you are going to sell ice cream by volume (i.e. by pint) you need to pack the pint. They put 2 scoops in a pint container. Would have been cheaper to "add 2 scoops) at 2.50 a piece than to order the pint for 8.75. Pretty much a rip-off.
I was maybe a hour away from charlotte & i called and placed my order and told them i would be arriving at 5:30 so when i arrived i had fresh cookies .. omg i wanted to cry and i got my favorite cookie (s’mores) big shout out to the guy that made it happen, can’t remember his name but he had glasses and very friendly
Worst experience ever. I ordered online, never got my cookies, and when I called and provides the tracking and order numbers they said that no order existed and I had the wrong store. They said I needed to call customer service and gave me the same number that I called to get them. I had someone else call and they magically found a manager, who magically found my order and they said that they could deliver it tomorrow evening aven though it was 9:30 and they close at 1:00 am. The person Angel that I spoke with was very rude and a complete list. I had to get the sheriff's department involved to mediate. This is the words experience I've ever had. DON'T GO THERE!!Update: turns out Angel is new and has not had great training from experienced managers. Although he handled the situation poorly, I'm sure it was because of my adding to the frustration of him being new and alone on a busy evening. He did make the situation right and for that I'm glad. Bad start, good finish!
I wish I could rate this a minus 10. This location on a Firday at 8pm said the system was down and I had to order online. I thought this was suspicious based on prior reviews. The location in South end (as I asked about ordering and the uptown location) he said that was crazy. He said there was only 1 reason they didn't want to work/make cookies. The South end location was amazing, but this is specifically for the uptown location, save your time and money eye because they will make you wait 3 hours to order cookies instead of walking into the brick and mortar store.
If I could leave no stars I 1000% would. Do NOT go to the Insomnia Cookies in the epicenter. We went there after dinner to get warm cookies. Tim was very rude and aggressive right away. He quickly escalated a situation that did NOT need to be escalated. He even went as far as arguing with security and trying to tell the nice security lady what she can and can’t do. Absolutely the WORST experience I have encountered.
TERRIBLE/unfriendly customer service.No welcome when walking in....employees have the worst attitude. Tim in particularI mean if you dont like your job find a new one.Simple as that.Hopefully the company can start giving better trainings and take everyones reviews into consideration.The cookies would've been better if the rudeness of employees didnt ruin my appetite.
I walked a half a mile last night to pick up my order at around 10:45pm. Your hours CLEARLY STATE that you’re opened until 12AM. I submitted an online order, paid for it online and everything. I get to the store, and it’s completely closed. I need a refund back immediately since I wasn’t able to get my order. Oh, and to top it off, on the walk back home it started down pouring.
I will stay hungry because there is nobody here. It’s 4:45 and there is no one in the front of the store. Someone waiting there before me said she was “in the back getting cookies” but how long does it take to get cookies for the back for 2 people. Never again willI go to this store. What kind of establishment is this?
The lady left the door open so we came in a hour after they were already supposed to be open and she came out having a attitude because SHE wasn’t prepared and acted like we were just supposed to know that she wasn’t open yet even tho she left the door unlocked. Very rude , unprofessional , and unprepared. If you’re supposed to be open at a certain time BE PREPARED TO OPEN AT THAT TIME .
