Was quite dissatisfied with the cinco de mayo experience. Staff seemed ill prepared. To get anything there was a 45 minute to hour wait. Drinks were a long wait and they didn’t accept cash. Weird. Money is money. To get food was an hour wait as well. People were spending more time waiting in line than dancing and enjoying the atmosphere. My friends and I were disappointed so we walked elsewhere.
It’s pretty sad that you can’t get of hold of anyone. Went there yesterday. They was no toilet paper in the womens rest room even after telling three different people. And they are overcharging. Check y’all’s back accounts the day after.
What can I say about Hoppin' that has not already been said about Batman(2022). Absolutely eye-catching from front to end. Great Bar.HOWEVER,My friend Leah D. Stout (East Carolina University BS) showed up 30 minutes late to the event. She also had not had anything to eat?? Like why wouldn't you eat if you knew you would be drinking? Plus you are late? Ughhhhh I literally can NOT with her sometimes. She took the vibes this bar had to offer and absolutely made it stinky feet vibes. Also when she got there she scuffed my new sperry topsiders. Sometimes friends need tough love. Also, the music was a tad too load.
I'm not going to lie, I did feel some shade from the front staff young woman with the black hair (I believe her name was Ashley), but after that we had a blast. I was convinced she didn't like us. The food truck in the back was a plus!

Love the concept. Plenty of choices including beers of all varieties, wines and sparkling, self pour so you can have just a taster, plus darts and video golf. We will be back...
Hoppin' is a great place to go and chill with friends! I like how the beer is self serve, so you just find a drink you want to try and go for it. My favorite drink I got was the strawberry apple cider. The music and atmosphere is great as ,playing good music with a DJ. This place has drinks for everyone, and if you want food the taco truck has bomb boreas. It's honestly one of the best places in Charlotte!
