Surprisingly good. Tuna is delicious. Better than any store sushi, even most sushi restaurants in my town. Wait a few minutes to get closer to room temperature
Craving Sushi today while traveling and this was good. Bought the pre made package and it as 2 rolls for almost $12. And it was good. Will be eating here. Next time I come through.
Decent sushi for an airport restaurant. They are continually replenishing the food in the refrigerator with food made in front of you. Cold sushi is just ok though, no matter how fresh it was when it went in so i would have opted for made fresh for me if I had the time. At any rate, spicy salmon roll was good.
WOW! I live in Hawai’i, where it has a great Japanese influence and no place serves such an awesome sushi. Truly remarkable! I had the Queen Charlotte and it was so fresh and excellent tempura shrimp ???
Sushi tasted good. Prepackaged. Self checkout. About $14/ roll but all airport food is high.
Do not order the sashimi or the miso soup. Sashimi was thick frozen hunks, barely edible. Miso soup is watered down.I've had rolls in the last that were good but this visit was pretty awful.Service was luke warm. Didn't check on me for a while and it didn't seem busy.
I have no idea why this is rated bad... go sit down and get a fresh rolled roll, it's too good for airport food in a non coastal cityIt's like 16$ (normal specialty roll price) at the airport... don't rate this bad bc of that... it's cheap in comparisonI'm baffled by the current 3.5 average, I've been 2 times and both rolls were shockingly good, it was good enough that I chose to come back on my layover. Sushi at 9am on a layover.... it's bold but worth it
Fast food sushi, restaurant prices. This is a self checkout sushi bar, all the sushi was made Earlier in the day and is left out refrigerated. Can you bring the refrigerated package to a check out kiosk and swipe your credit card. I was not going to write a review about this experience until I sat down at the Empty sushi bar, And noticed that there was a tub of raw fish left out on the counter seemingly forgotten. I’ve been sitting here for some time…
I recently stopped here to grab a to go sushi not realizing that they had a menu to order from. I chose this location as the tables in food court we’re completely full. As I went to sit down at the bar I was very rudely informed by the bartender wearing a Mickey mask that I could not sit there. I apologized and moved to a table near by. Instead of kindly informing me I couldn’t sit there either, she instead treated me like I was an elementary school child who had done something that warranted a scolding, waving me away with a firm “No, Ma’am.” I was shocked to have been spoken to like this. After searching for a table in the food court and still not being able to find a one, I went back and offered to order a drink in exchange for sitting there, which by the way all of the tables and seats were empty, and I was still turned away. As someone who has worked in the customer service industry hours on end during covid, I was severely disappointed in the way I was treated. I didn’t mind that I couldn’t sit there, it was the rude way the message was delivered. We could all use a little kindness during this time.
Service was so fast. Bar was full & bartender/ server got to me right away. Miso soup was out in about 30 seconds and sushi was up in no more than 5 minutes. A huge relief on an hour long layover, especially when most of the places lines are out the door and it takes a while.
