The food was pretty good. Salad fresh! But let me tell you- they need some work on facility. The women’s restroom was terrible. Half of toilets broken. Doors on stalls broken and NO PAPER TOWEL. Our server although she was not rude was not very attentive. Service could have been better.
If you are looking for a nice place to have dinner or lunch, this is the place to go. The staff are professional and kind. The manager is outstanding. He care's about everyone whom enter his establishment. Food is excellent, in all .
My chicken was overcooked and they used kraft macaroni and cheese. Very disappointed with the taste and quality of their food. The service was decent and the restaurant was fairly clean so that's what gets them the 2 stars.
I never get disappointed when stopping by a Hickory Tavern spot.This was a ME date when i just went to unwind after a stressful week(alone),and it worked!These places always bring out good feelings from most folk around in the place as well. The service is good and the food is a good variety.Beer constantly flows and goes well with whatever is on the menu.This one had a DJ both that looked like it was about get crunk up about the time i was finishing up...around 730 maybe 8... On a wednesday!..so understand the atmosphere...lolIt is also in the area of a couple hotels and a business park and close by the interstate (I-77 northbound side)Come good, leave better!!
Chicken pasta is tasty. Red bull drinks are awesome. Grits high five!!

Food is great however my group of 5 ordered chips and salsa and only got enough to feed 2 people. They went fast and we didn't get a refill so I assume it's prepackaged or counted. The hickory chips were disappointing a few were crispy but most were chewy which is not at all what I expected. The fries were good though so I would go with those next time. The wait time was somewhat long on a weekend but that's average.
Sunday night meal. Wife Had the shrimp appetizer I had the tacos and fries. The fries were served hot and was the best part of the meal. The shrimp and tacos were warm. Server was polite and had a good attitude.
We had a decent experience. We had two salads that were OK (yummy grouper fingers). The place looked nice enough too with a lot of screen to watch sports, but the music was WAY too loud, with someone annoyingly on the microphone. Didn’t seem to have the greatest clientele in terms of visitors.
