Outstanding experience with Chef Lisa and her team this weekend! Chef Lisa created a delicious menu and a memorable experience as we celebrated my mother in law’s 80th birthday. Stories were told about the menu items as a they were served and laughter was shared by all. Thank you isn’t enough but it’s all we have. Thank you Heart and Soul!
Heart and Soul catered my mother’s 80th birthday party which also aligned with Father’s Day. We had twelve family members in for an intimate, comfortable, fun family dinner celebration at home, just the way my mom prefers it. What can I say? other than it was it was a beyond perfect party . Chef Lisa, her Sous Chef and serving team were amazing, funny and engaging. They matched the energy of the room and even brought a little of their own. Her team members were attentive and friendly. They laughed with us while making sure everyone’s needs were met. Chef Lisa shared some short stories about the origin of some of her favorite recipes passed down from her grandmother. You could feel the love and her passion for cooking flow from her as she talked about her grandma’s family gatherings back in the day. That love and passion was in every bite of the food she prepared for us. It was all so good. We had a beautiful Charcuterie board to start with out on the patio and then moved inside where the team had arranged a beautiful place settings at the table. We had a five course meal that was exquisite, right from the chicken shrimp gumbo soup, (the house salad, Chateaubriand) to Chef Lisa’s grandmothers’ blackberry cobbler with homemade ice cream. I cleaned every plate put in front of me minus one very decoratively cut tomato. (Only because I personally don’t like tomatos, but it was pretty to look at :) Her attention to detail is second to none. Thank you Chef Lisa and team for making my mom’s 80th birthday party an event that we will all remember and talk about for a life time.
Chef Lisa and her team were AMAZING in providing an eloquent five course meal. Her cooking was perfection and the service was top notch! Would recommend Heart & Soul to anyone!
Lisa and the team brought lunch to my office for our final Black history month event. Baked chicken, rice, green beans, mac & cheese plus peach cobbler. It’s Friday and people are still talking about it and asking when she will return. There were arguments over which dish was best (green beans won and someone actually stole the leftovers, if that helps you know how good they are). These people do great work!
Really enjoyed our experience. The chef and server were very nice and professional, the food was amazing, and they went out of their way to take care of us and make sure we always had what we needed. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had the pleasure of sharing an intimate 5-course anniversary dinner for two prepared by Chef Shanté, assisted by Valencia. Every course was perfect! Both the food and the service were 5-star. This was an experience that we will never forget.
OMG!!! So first of all I had no idea these lovely people were coming to my house, the hubby surprised me for my birthday!!! The food was AMAZING, Shante’ put her entire foot, arm and elbow in everything! Valencia kept the bubbly flowing and our dining area cleaned! Both ladies did an amazing job, i felt super special! Hubby says the process to schedule was super easy and they listened to his vision and what he needed as I have some dietary restrictions. Sooo saying all that to say if your thinking about booking this company go on and do it! You will not be disappointed!! I hope you get Shante and Valencia as they are super sweet and professional and Shante can cook her little behind off!!!
I cant praise Chef Keisha and Mike enough for making my wife's 40th birthday celebration absolutely memorable. They were highly professional, courteous, hygienic, down to earth and made us feel at ease in our own home. What an amazing and wonderful experience that included our 3 children which made it an even more special family event . ShaQuanna was very helpful in setting up the menu to accommodate our kids. Chef Keisha did her thing, from the crab cakes, lobster bisque soup, grilled salmon, filet mignon, feta strawberry salad along with the dessert with homemade ice cream was all knock down delicious and decadent! We really appreciate the both of you so much for the experience you afforded us and we look forward to seeing the both of you in the near future. I cannot say enough amazing things about Heart & Soul Personal Chef! When my husband and I changed our wedding plans and decided to elope instead, we knew that we still wanted to make our day special. Chef Lisa and her staff went above and beyond to do that for us! The staff is incredibly professional and made everything so easy. Chef Lisa is one of the most talented chefs I've ever experienced... I'm not kidding when I say that she made the best steak I've had in Charlotte, hands down. If you ever need a personal chef service, do yourself a favor and book Heart & Soul. You won't regret it!
