This was such a great place to eat! The food was very delicious! I highly recommend the mai fun dish it comes with shrimp and chicken. It’s the prefect amount of spice and it was very delicious :) we came with the kids and even though they had a great time and the waitress gave us ideas what to order for kids, I wouldn’t recommend being kids. It’s a place where you would want to hang out with adult friends or just the adults. The service was amazing as well. It’s a very fun place. I would recommend checking it out for sure!
Great atmosphere! The lights draw you in, the people are having a great time and you can hear it! The food smells grab you when you walk deep into the place. The music was nice and upbeat, very easy to converse with/over, positive flow! Food was AMAZING, bar hospitality was great, I will DEFINITELY be coming back!
It’s our first time coming to this interesting restaurant. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. We tried several dishes. We really loved Korean chicken wings. The curry ramen was too spicy/heavy broth for me. Both service&food are very good.
I'm new to the area, and first time visiting this restaurant. There was a wait, but we'll worth it.My friend and I had Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, Shrimp Rolls, white wine, and 5-spice Old Fashioned. Both of us agreed, the best Pad Thai ever!!!The Shrimp Rolls were very good, the Spring Rolls- good. Drinks were good, but the Old Fashioned was missing a bit of the spice- however, I didn't say anything- so will try again.Extra note- sat at the bar since seats opened up there first- Carolina was a fantastic server. Will definitely return.
Amazing dim sum and noodle place! Stopped in for a late lunch and it was fabulous. We tried the mei fun noodles, bao buns, and spring rolls…all amazing. We did have one item that was accidentally delivered to another table but they quickly took it off our bill when we inquired. Also, found out we were there during happy hour when buns were half price. Fun surprise! All in all this place was great. Definitely going back soon!
This place gets very busy! We went ahead and ate at the bar which was a great experience. Our bartender was attentive and had great suggestions for food and drinks. My fried rice was a bit overdone but everything was still great. We also got the curry dish, amazing. The roast duck baos were the bomb. Could’ve had 10 of those. Korean twice fried wings were also good. Overall good experience!
My wife and I went here on the recommendation of some locals, and we absolutely loved it! All of the food tasted exactly like I would've wanted it to. The waitstaff was very nice and did a good job of explaining how the restaurant operates. The whole place has a cool, modern vibe that also feels a bit like a cultural experience. We aren't from Charlotte, but we can't wait to visit again and come back to this restaurant! They also do brunch, and they have $2 mimosas!
We live in Mooresville and come to Charlotte for Hawkers! Food is fabulous, servers are so great! Today we had Taylor and she was so great!
Casey our waitress was awesome very knowledgeable and helped us with ordering . Short wait to get in hard to find parking only problem
This place was truly...just okay. The food, while tasty (if not somewhat inconsistent), is almost comically small and drives a high price on what I see as little basis to be sold at.This certainly seems like an establishment where you go for the atmosphere itself and not so much the food. On that front perhaps it's best to visit for just the one time. The experience will definitely leave an imprint. The theme and environment they're going for they've absolutely nailed down. The "vibe" was captured perfectly. The decor within the restaurant is amongst the most unique you can probably find in all of Charlotte, but that bodes little when it comes to the entrées.Imagine: portions so small and prices so high. On some dishes the flavor is rich whilst others are completely lacking. I can't help but feel this place is for people who've never truly experienced real street food— people who have KNOW it's not this expensive, especially for what you get (or lack thereof). The establishment has this act of 'sensationalism' to it that drives its prices steep. Your money's worth will simply not be found here and your appetite will NOT be satiated. You'd better eat something beforehand if you don't want to later resuscitate your wallet having ordered more to get your fill. Granted, I understand this place is found within Charlotte so of course that's another reason but I cannot stress enough how laughable the portions are, thematic with the "street" aesthetic or not. It's just too small! However, perhaps our timing wasn't the greatest either. My large party and I attended at the absolute peak hours. By some miracle we were seated much earlier than expected and our server (bless them) tended to us justly with swift efficiency in spite our number. As part of our experience (portions notwithstanding) some dishes were cooked to a 'T' while some of us had noodles that were overly-salted, under-flavored, or just straight-up burnt. I can't even exaggerate that last part. How do you burn noodles? I know for a fact that their kitchen was whippin' it up back there that night but it would appear they sacrificed quality for quantity. It's also worth mentioning that some items on the menu were simply unavailable due to how busy it was, but my party and I are a reasonable bunch so we understood the circumstances. The restaurant hustle really be like that sometimes. All in all, I'd like to give this place another chance during a MUCH less busier time— I'll just be sure to have a little appetite. However, that won't be anytime soon.
