Mediterranean Food Trucks Halal

Not really familiar with Mediterranean food but this place is absolutely amazing. For like 8 bucks you can get better food than half of the places in the area.

The food is so good, I almost had a heart attack from eating it so fast. I had lamb over rice with the sauce and wanted more after I was done. It’s less than $10 and can get you full. Service & food was great. Regardless of the weather, they still were dedicated to serve. Totally recommend if you’re in the clt area !

I have been ordering from this food truck for years and always recommended it. I had an awful experience yesterday that needs to be addressed. Among all the beautiful halal places I could take my friends to yesterday I chose this one only to regret it. Spent $100 on all our food and drink orders and when I asked for hot sauce on those orders I was told that I would have to pay extra. Lol $1 for hot sauce that ALWAYS came with the orders!!! RIDICULOUS!!!Not only that but the way he expressed it was beyond rude. Keep asking $1 for hot sauce and watch how quickly you will lose great customers. The falafel was dry and tasteless on top of being served as if it was for pets. The owner of this food truck has worked so hard to get to this point today and Allah knows how happy and proud we are to see him expand to the second location at university. Unfortunately, people like the guy from last night will ruin all that hard work just like that. Halal business doesn’t go with haram and ribat charges!!!

We are a regular customer here but somehow they seem to mess up the order every single time. I always get the same thing and given their menu which is not complex they seem to forget adding the things I pay for. This review is based on multiple orders from this place over the course of 6 months. Wish they paid more attention to what the customer is asking for rather than sloppily slapping rice and lamb in a box for delivery. Disappointed.

On one hand, if you’re jonesing for falafel, they can hook you up. On the other hand, it’s just some falafel and lettuce wrapped in a pita with some white sauce. No tomato, no pickle, no pepper, etc.

Post-pandemic, prices are higher - $8 - but this place is still at a uptown tradition.

The spicy chicken gyro was incredible! Way better than it had any business being. I’d come here all the time if I worked in Charlotte. I was just passing through. Highly recommend for take away food.

Before the pandemic I would eat there at least 3xs per week.. tried it today....never again. The falafel pita used to be$5 it is now $7.99. It used to be the best falafel in Charlotte, now it one of the worst! Cold, dry & the nerve not to put the sauce on it when I asked for extra. The extra sauce may have disguised the nasty dry falafel! They used to have friendly staff that were customer centric, now have dirty sullen staff. Used to be able to see them preparing your food now they hide wha t they are cooking behind a metal window.Scary!

Food is like crack! Between the rice, spice, yogurt, and savory meats, it's hitting all your taste buds. They served four of us in under 30 seconds....and ate away at a line of 20 in no time.

Very good halal food. It’s chicken and lamb over rice with two additional falafels. Additional falafels are $1 each.
