They are trying to say we didn’t pay for the takeout food when I gave him $200!!! $145.00 for dinner and the rest was for the takeout. Didn’t even get change back from the server or anybody!!! Don’t come here unless you want to get ripped off
YouTuber Mike Chen went one of the chains and I finally visited one in Charlotte NC! Welcomed by a Japanese welcome call, "Irasshai-mase!", Felt like I was back home! We had $85/2people AYCE but we could have been just as happy with Happy hour deal $60/2. If you wanna experience Japanese Yakiniku, try here. Keep ordering 2 items from every category when server comes back, you will be filling money worth! Meat quality was bit of lowside but fun experience. $14 layered Macha crepe cake was overpriced but Macha tiramisu had ton of flavor and was delish! Btw, servers were super helpful, friendly and quick!! Got Kirin, Sapporo and Asahi beer. Sweet nigoti sake was available too.
Food was good but the servers wasn’t good at large parties all the receipts was messed up & we was asking for stuff they kept forgetting but that understood
Great experience for first time kbbq-ers. I think this is a good standard for Charlotte, however, is limited in meat abundance compared to west coast standards. The meat selection is great, ranging from kobe to chicken. The service was amazing and attentive to make sure our grill was working and water filled. The overall experience was great and loved the little smore moment they offer as a desert.
Arguably the best bbq place I’ve been too,, and beats all other Japanese restaurants too.
Loved all the meat! Karaage was my all time favorite. The Valentine’s Day meal was perfect for me and my sibling. Would come back if I get the chance to.
Went to dine in for two people , terrible service . You are limited a 90 minute . Our food took forever to come out , by the time our rice was cold . Never got my appetizer. They didn’t seem busy . Definitely, they need to do better !!!
We were seated an hour late. So we did not get our 90 min. We had child that was a last minute addition babysitter cancelled She was not going to eat due to allergy concerns. The restaurant owner insisted on charging for her even though she was not eating. No where on website or app does it say that. If we had known we would have cancelled our reservation. Very disappointed
It was worth the experience for someone who's never had a Japanese BBQ style meal. I wasn't impressed with the seating arrangements but, eh, it was a Saturday night and I'm just glad they got us (2) a table. I like their Covid safety bits but I was hoping for an experience a bit more like other table top BBQs that offer more of a menu choice/selection.*Legit just wish there were more menu options for parties of 2 ❤️ but this place gets loads of 4 star reviews so that def do amazing stuff!As an aside, their sorbet dessert was effing fantastic ?
