This was my first time there and I was not impressed. Ordered the taro milk tea less ice half sugar and mango smoothie regular sugar. The taro milk tea had an odd flavor. Almost like dirty water. Not sure how to explain it but def could not drink it. The bubbles had a nice consistency and flavor unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy them. The mango smoothie had absolutely no flavor. I noticed that they added three cups of ice when making it and then proceeded to add some water while it was blending to smooth it out. I didn’t think much of that but it def impacted the flavor. The environment is cute spot for teens. It was pretty busy when I went in, I ordered as soon as I got in but waited about 20 minutes for both drinks. I won’t be back.
Great place for some boba, they have many flavor options, they don't have popping boba though which was a bummer but other than that it's a great cute place to hang out
It was sooooo good I've been many times you have to try different things till you get the right one but once you find it it's amazing
I love coming here, I never have a problem with the staff because they are usually very nice. But the encounter with this girl makes me not want to return, she was extremely rude to the point where it caught me off guard. Did not leave a tip. I really love the boba tea here but this lady left me in tears .
My 13yo and I come here at least once a week to enjoy boba tea. Soooo good! Only once did we get the wrong thing, but it ended up still being good! Always excellent customer service as well. So happy to have an excellent boba place in the south Charlotte area.
Great place for some quality drinks. Staff was quick, efficient, and respectful. It's easy to order off the menu and there are a plethora of choices to choose from! Highly recommend.
I went to Gongcha today at 11:30ish with my bf and I receive extremely bad customer service. The cashier that was there took my order and she had an attitude. It wasn’t a big problem so I didn’t care much but when I received my order I didn’t get what I ordered. I had order a strawberry smoothie with star jelly but i received a peach smoothie with star jelly instead. Wasn’t a big deal but when my bf noticed that his drink was wrong too he went up to tell her. He stood there and waited till she was done with the other customer but before he could say anything all she said was “I’m aware”. She did not say sorry to my bf for getting his drink wrong she just says I’m aware. After re-doing both drinks my bf notice that he was still missing boba. He had ordered a brown sugar fresh milk with boba and crème brûlée. He notified her again but she then claimed there was no boba in his order. I thought my drink was correct after the first re-do but as I was drinking it in the car I notice it wasn’t very sweet. I could be wrong but I do not think I have sugar in my drink and also the amount of star jelly I received was significantly less than what I usually get when I order this drink. I’m only making the last too claims because this is a drink, I drink often so I’m pretty sure it was different from my usual. Also I’m not sure if staff here can be on the phone when they are working but the cashier that was making my drink was on the phone. I love Gongcha really much but I did not enjoy my customer service today.
I had the crème brûlée strawberry with nothing added and I think that was the best drink I've ever had. Definitely coming again sometime soon!
They used to have the best milk tea in the area so I didn't mind the wait time, but lately they've been messing up. On 3 separate orders they forgot to add the milk foam, and twice already, the drinks were watered down, and the boba was undercooked.Please fix these issues! I need my tea!
Good bubble tea, but need to have milk alternatives for those who are lactose intolerant. Would be nice to have almond or soy substitute for us
