Great ice cream and friendly service! The attendant was especially kind and suggested the lavender honey ice cream, which was delicious! Highly recommend!

13$ for 3 tiny ice creams??? Literally like 1/4 cup of ice cream for 4$, I know it’s one of those new millennial style places with the ipad as the cash register so obviously it’s gonna be expensive but geez. Go to publix and get a 1/2 gallon of ice cream for less.

Took the family to Golden Cow for some ice! I had a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of butterfinger! Both delicious. We sat outside on the rocking chairs.

First time going to this establishment. They let you try the different types of ice cream before you commit to what you want. They have different size cups and milkshakes. I got the salted oreo flavor. It was delicious to say the least. You can also mix flavors if you want to be adventurous. I'll be back!

This is one of those places you go out of the way for. Its well worth the adventure off the old beaten path. This is craft ice cream at its finest. Its smooth, rich and creamy. The flavors range from the normal Chocolate Strawberry, to the cool and interesting like Dunkaroos and Salted Oreo, to the amazingly delicious and bizarre Earl Grey! You never know what new flavor of the week they will have when you stop by but its always worth a sample!Update years later: Still the best ice cream in Charlotte. Pictured is honey lavender and lemon strawberry cheesecake

The freshest and most delicious ice cream I’ve ever had! And I’ve tried a lot of ice creams over the years. Service was exceptional as well.

Family wanted, nay, demanded ice cream and so I picked Golden Cow mainly due to the fact that it reminded me of Kevin Smith's poorly aging religious satire, Dogma. The parlor is not very large. Room for maybe 5 properly socially distanced patrons, lol. Out front are some benches and rocking chairs for you to lazily enjoy your treat. My family tried a lot of the flavors and settled in on their choices. I tried the cherry, almond, dark chocolate and was ready to melt into my shoes, but my curiosity got the best of me and I had to sample the honey lavender.I wept tears of joy. They say that the Trojans invaded Troy because Helen ran away with Paris, but it's equally possible that Troy had the recipe for the honey lavender ice cream

Cute small store location. Has nice rocking chairs out front. The ice cream was okay and a tiny high on price. They had very unique flavors.

Young man behind the counter was friendly and helpful. He made recommendations and gave me samples. I went with the honey lavender and salted Oreo.

This was my wife and I first visit. I had high hopes being what I've read about them. We visited the southend location Saturday March 19th. I had the salted oreo and pb and brownie, and my wife had Chocolate and pistachio. First of the pistachio was bad just bad. It had little to no pistachio flavor whatsoever. The Salted oreo was bland and had very little oreos in the ice cream. The PB&Brownie had very little peanut butter flavor. Maybe the person making the ice cream batches we had simply didn't good job. But as it stands we will not be returning.
