I have passed this place 100s of times and never went in. Finally got the chance. The food was pretty good. The 401 Spicy was delicious, not very spicy at all. The fried calamari was a small portion and alright, but the wasabi mayo dipping sauce was phenomenal! Sushi was average sushi you can get anywhere. The teriyaki chicken was pretty good as well. The place overall is more on the expensive side, but the food is pretty good the service and staff was very nice. If you're looking for good Chinese food, you would be happy here.
My husband and I came here with a friend and shared:- Firecracker Roll- Spicy Tuna Twist Roll- Cherry Blossom Roll- NIU Roll- Volcano Roll- Crab WontonsI was impressed by the rolls. I listed them above in my order of preference. The only one I didn't enjoy was the Volcano Roll. All of them (except the Volcano Roll) were pretty big too.They have small tables outside that are big enough for two people. We pulled a couple together.I hadn't heard too much about this spot as far as sushi goes, but I'm glad we stopped by.
The sushi is always great and the service was good the only down side is I was charged a service fee for using my credit card. And the server didn't even tell me or I would have paid in cash. Instead imagine my surprise when my bill jumped almost 3.00 and the line item said a fee for a non-cash processing fee. ? lesson learned don't come without cash or pay an up charge.
I ordered through Grubhub and ordered what I thought was simple. I had Singapore noodles and egg drop soup with wontons in it. Let's start with the egg drop soup. I swear it tasted just like nothing but cornstarch and eggs no chicken flavor or anything. And it was really thick like it was from the bottom of the pot and they scraped around it to get but they were getting to me The wontons also nothing but noodle or pasta. You know the stuff that it goes around or whatever or the outside it was mostly that the inside meat also had no flavor. The Singapore noodles... Also horrible most places that have decent food, they're Singapore noodles you can see how much curry they use and it's absolutely delicious. This place kind of when I opened up my bag of food and pulled it out I knew instantly it wasn't going to taste like anything just noodles and chicken and shrimp but you know when you hungry you'll eat. I had to add my own curry to it to try to fix it and we all know that didn't work. The noodles were also the wrong type of noodles. They used spaghetti noodles And they were overdone. I wish I could get my money back.
Ended up here because my regular place was closed. WOW! This is my new favorite Sushi in Charlotte. Every roll I ordered was delicious and very fresh. The prices were affordable.10/10 would recommend
I’m just appreciative of the efficient and kind customer service, amazing food and general satisfaction of coming here.I use to order take out form here regularly years ago when I lived in Charlotte. I came alone in here for lunch today. Everyone was nice and polite and greeted me immediately. Tea and miso came out so quick and the lunch special was a good price and good quality salmon. I was a bit indecisive but they were patient. Just overall relieved to be here.
This is the best Sushi for the best price in Charlotte. I come here at least once a week and the food is always amazing, and the staff is always fantastic. I am mad I can only give them 5 stars. I recommend the Salmon Dream Roll or the Tuna twist! They are my personal favorites!

Ordered crab wontons and am absolutely appalled. As you can tell from the pictures there is VERY minimal crab OR cream cheese. I have never seen a wonton this empty before. Not worth your money.
