Giacomo’s has been a family favorite through the years in the Charlotte area.The Grandma’s Pie has always been a personal favorite and any of their entrees are delicious and priced extremely fair!! Happy to see they made it through the last couple of years that were soo..tough on small business owners, and wish many, many more years of great food and friendly service. Only wish that I lived a bit closer….
First of all: Jennifer was absolutely fantastic, Hands down greatest waitress we've ever had anywhere , ever. She immediately made us feel welcome and like we were regular customers. When we asked for recommendations she gave us a comprehensive rundown and was spot on with her description (SO delicious)We were celebrating our second anniversary, and the food far exceeded the fare at the bougie uptown places I had originally envisioned. And much more affordably. Before we left we texted 3 different people about how good this pizza /service was. Will be back, like so many others.
We found this great little pizza place a year ago when we were in town for the races. We knew we had to come back! Do yourself a favor and make this a stop on your next visit to Charlotte!
AMAZING OWNERS AND THE BEST PIZZA IN CHARLOTTE!!! I have loved their authentic pizza and Italian food for years. Their quality has always been reliable and their other dishes like chicken Parmesan with pink sauce is off the charts good. Love it!
Had a craving for some Italian & was NOT disappointed! Was greeted at the door & our server was completely fantastic!! It was our first time & she had recommendations & was cool with us asking questions.?The food was freaking delicious!! We ordered fried zucchini (which came with marinara),Chicken Parmigiano(Sooooo good) & Chicken Pesto(My wife added salt but said it was Good!).I also ordered a small ceaser salad(they had an option in salad sizes which I love!) Overall, great place with yummy food!
Best pizza in NC. Great food, fresh, perfectly prepared and seasoned,hands down. Calamari was better than nearly any I've had in years. Crispy, light, nice sized, not greasy... Pizza was so good we ate the whole pie. Crust was perfectly soft, but crisp enough to hold all the toppings. I'm from Chicago and haven't had a good pizza in 2 years, this pizza hit the spot. I'm in love.
They make fantastic manicotti. Have gotten it twice but have had nothing else but the salad and rolls. Their creamy Italian dressing is great. The rolls are so delicious that I always want to get an order to go. ☺️ So, there you have it. I enjoyed everything I got and want to return many times. Great service, too.

So I've had pizza all over the country. And this pizza isn't bad at all. I find it quite good especially for charlotte NC. Overall, yes I would recommend this place to others.
Lord have mercy, this is the biggest calzone I've ever had! It should have come with its own zip code and zoning ordinances! Super duper filling, loaded with deliciousness, and clearly made to order with fresh ingredients. This sort of thing will ruin you on other Italian places! Great service and a subdued, modern décor. Wish I had saved room for more.
