We tried some appetizers, some dishes recommended to us by our server, and some dishes recommended by friends and everything was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend checking it out. Fire & Ice Ramen 10/10. Chirashi Roll 10/10 Rice Crispy Squares
The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting! Seating is pretty limited. Food was prepared and served quickly though I'd like to note that they do add a service charge on your bill for dining in ($8 and some change in my case). I got two sake drinks and two ramen bowls with my friend which ended up coming to $69 with a reasonable tip.
The service and the ramen were phenomenal. Highly recommend adding the spicy ground pork to your ramen. Their homemade chili oil is amazing! We left feeling happy with warm, full bellies.
I’m all for enhancing pay for waitstaff and restaurant workers, but our experience was so awful today, 100% because of the server we had, but yet we were forced to give 18% as a service charge. Our meal was ok, ridiculous up charges for things like ginger to be added to the dish. Brought out warm glass for a cold beer, wrong food, wrong bill, never came back to check on us. They weren’t even busy! There were tons of staff, but we didn’t seem to warrant the attention. I used to LOVE this place, but I shan’t be back…..
So delicious! The fried chicken appetizer was my favorite- super juicy and paired with a yummy sauce; also lightly fried so it was crunchy enough without being greasy. The ramen was loaded and delicious too! I appreciate that they give extra spices on the side. The gyotza is a great app too! Lovely little spot with lots of yummy options
Best atmosphere and best Ramen. Ordered with double noodles. The Rice Krispy Squares with the spicy tuna are a delicious appetizer. Enjoyed sitting outside along the rail trail.
Great location, right off the train station. Staff is fabulous. Good food. The restaurant itself is a bit on the smaller/crammed side. I personally enjoy that for a ramen shop, but I know it's not to everyone's likings. Ramen is tasty and flavorful with great ingredients.
Loved the tuna rice crispy squares and the pork belly buns. The tonkatsu ramen was really tasty. The beer selection was great too and the service fantastic!
The food presentation was good but the taste did not match up the look. The miso noodle the broth tasted salty rather than miso flavor, so very disappointed. Rice Crispy squares was good and spicy tuna was tasty. I was surprised to see none of the wait staffs wear a mask.
We have a big heart for Futo Buta! We have been enjoying steaming bowls of love here for years until covid. We changed that last night and made a trip and it was just as fun and delish as we remember. Crispy rice squares are a must! Our server was so kind helping me find a specific sake I was looking for and I didn't have a name, just a photo from a spot in Baltimore from a month ago!
