Always great times when eating here ty guys for having great food and exciting service.
Service was ok. The cook was unfriendly, did not talk or do any type of show. The grill was to hot and The food was not good at all. This is our second time for service and food this bad. We won’t be Going back.
This is actually one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Charlotte. I haven't been to the hibachi side of the restaurant yet, but the dine-in side is great. There's plenty space between each table. Waiter/waitresses are friendly and helpful if you've never eaten sushi or Japanese food before. As far as the food goes, you have plenty to choose from on the menu. There are a lot of sushi, lunch, and dinner options for any time if the day you visit. Prices are fair but can be a little pricey once the bill comes. Regardless, it's been worth it every time I have gone to eat here.
Decided to spend my money at this restaurant to celebrate my son’s 19th birthday and they told me they was going to sing Happy Birthday to him and they didn’t . I asked them 3 times. We could have went to restaurant who really cares?. May be it was because we are African Americans. This is how they made us feel! Don’t celebrate your birthday here FYI. However the food was delicious, we had Tiger as our cook and he was amazing and very entertaining.
We had a good experience here but if I had to judge it against the many experiences I’ve had in Japanese Steak houses I would say it was average. The fried rice and noodles were over sauced for my taste. Maybe a bit disappointing. I gave it 4 stars because of the cook we had, we had a pleasant conversation. A real nice guy too. In their defense it was mothers day and they were extremely busy. It could’ve thrown off the quality of the food.
good people , good food!
I wish the experience had been better. I called them as it was our first time going to this store and we didn't know how it worked. The communication with the girl that answered was very difficult, she didn't understand what I asked and answered things I did not asked. Later on we went, didn't have to wait too long to be seated. Then the same thing happened with the waitress, a customer next to us had to intervene to explain what the waitresses was not able to do. The food was good and the cook was nice and funny, although I wished we had seen more tricks, he only did a couple, unlike the other tables, where I saw from the distance more tricks while cooking. The price is overall fair. Hoping to go back another day and have a better meal time.
Very poor service came in was seated and another family came in after us (privileged) and was served before us. We ended up sitting for an hour I asked for a manager and was told that she wasn’t there .I advised the hostess at the front that we have been sitting for an hour and have not been acknowledged. She then stated she was sorry and would offer us a 30% discount off our bill. We ate of course the chef got the orders wrong. Ended up sitting for him to correct the orders. Waitress never came out to offer refills so I ended up getting up to find someone to get us refills on our drinks. Chef came and prepared dry meat for us all to eat. Afterwards we never saw the waitress and asked about the 30% discount the manager Magically appears and says we cannot offer you that. She was very unprofessional She did not accommodate us for the poor service we had. this place looks down on people of color and I will NOT be coming back!
I enjoy this place every time I go visit NC. I love the sushi and hibachi. The service is pleasant however it get busy sometimes and takes a while to get the food.
It was good. The food was a lot, we had to take the rest home. Best part of the food is the YumYum sauce.
