I went in on April 23 around 4:55pm.The girl at the register who took my order was putting tape on my bowl, which sort of confused me because I never said carry out. She asked me if wanted a bag and I kindly said “oh no I’m eating in here” and she looked at me and said “we close at 5:30”. Sort of confusing because it says they close at 7:00pm on Google. Anyways, she basically tried to rush us out the store because they closed at 5:30 but I took my time because NO ONE is going to rush me into finishing up my food just because they close in 30 minutes?? I can tell she was a little bothered because I did that, as well as another customer who watched me sat down. If you were going to close early, you should’ve put a sign on the door that said that. I finished around 5:17 and went to Marshalls which is right next door and I took maybe an hour or so. We had to walk passed Frutta Bowls again to get to the car and they were still inside the store? I literally watched another customer trying to walk in and they stopped them midway before entering the door. To me it sounds like they were just riding the clock and if they were closed like they said they were, the doors should’ve been locked.
the açaí base was a disgusting texture and taste lol. had my husband try it as well and he agreed. but the fruits on top were nice and ripe i will say. but i go to tons of açaí bowl places and none have been like this… they only have like two or three bases to choose from so there’s not a lot of options for your bowl. just get a smoothie to be safe if you come here.
This place is truly amazing. I love the food so much and the new manager Brianna is the best ever. She is so pleasant and bestows the true meaning of THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Have tried several things form here and all of them are great. I would def recommend trying this place out. It is the BEST PLACE FOR HEALTHY TREATS!!! Thank you
Just visited this location and the customer service was terrible. I placed an order at 4:02 and went into the store at my estimated pickup time. I was never greeted nor asked if I had an online order to be picked up. I waited 20 minutes at the pickup spot the app said to go to before having to ask a staff member about my order. I had waited 40 minutes total for a smoothie that was in the fridge the entire time and no one told me.
I did not get what I ordered and so I asked for a refund. I was told it was refunded to my account but still haven’t gotten it. I then tried to reach out to resolve the issue and a week later still have not heard a response. Staff seemed put out about having to interact with me. I have never had an issue up until this point. Don’t know if it was an off day for them or what. Just want my refund. Will not be returning ever again.
The bowls have been consistently good but when are y’all going to take down those tacky brown paper bags on the window that says no one can enter without a mask? Keep up with the latest policies bc Roy Cooper has announced that they’re no longer encouraging businesses to require them.
Not all heros wear capes. Some wear Frutta Bowl name tags. Today I ordered a bowl from Doordash. When my order arrived, I found a note written on the paper bag saying, "Have an AMAZING day" with hearts and a smiley face sketched out. After having a rough week and a tough morning today, seeing this note put a smile on my face. I called the store to thank the sweet gal who wrote it, but forgot to ask her for her name. To the kind hearted girl who wrote the note: thank you for being the rainbow in my cloud today.
The bowls are expensive enough already and Frutta is charging an extra $2 for gluten free granola? It's not a choice for those of us with Celiac disease, I don't appreciate being penalized for that. Plus after paying the extra $2 on my over $10 bowl of fruit, there was barely any of the granola or almond butter. Doubt I'll be returning here.

One of the real deal places to get healthy recipe Acai bowls. The menu is with great selection and the portions is friendly. We try to stop here anytime we are coming through Charlotte.
