I have been eating here for years and the food has always been good. The prices have gone up but I will still support this black owned business. Still one of the best soul food spots in Charlotte.
Only have drive thru service which is good since covid is surging again. You order at the window then park and they bring the food out to your car. Home cooking. Got dinner for my mother. She enjoyed it.Price is reasonable.
Being new here, We had been anticipating visiting this restaurant for quite some time. There were a lot of cars in line which would automatically indicate that we had made a very good decision. Upon arrival we figured out that the restaurant was drive through only. There was no mention of this on the website. There was also no mention that you would get your food faster if you ordered on their website before getting to the window.Finally after the long wait in line and also having to park and wait we got our food. The smothered pork chops were somewhat tough (compared to Nana’s). The food was way TOO salty to the point that your tongue was left feeling numb from so much salt.The serving sizes were good and the yams were ok.Take lots of $$$
First time customer. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Everything we had, we enjoyed from start to finish. The prices were reasonable as well. Let's not forget the great customer service. We will definitely be back.
Since the Pandemic, Floyd's on North Graham street in Charlotte NC is not the restaurant that it used to be. The cooking staff at one time were All Black Soul Food Greats, and the food was The Bomb. Today, you never really know when it's going to be open and the cooks are other people of color who do not know how to cook Soul Food and is over seasoned. I don't patronize this location anymore! I used to go there at least 3 times a week!
Haven't had Floyd's in years since they had Donna K's off of Milton rd. This did not disappoint everything was tender and delicious. I always got the beef rib plate and it was still delicious after all these years. Place your order online so you won't have to wait long trust me it's worth it
My first time visiting Floyd's was a disappointment because I had to order in the blind. We couldn't go inside or see a menu board too choose from.I ordered the beef ribs,Mac& cheese, collards greens and cornbread to die for. The fries chicken was awesome as well..
It was delicious! I ate at Floyd’s because someone on TikTok recommended them as their top soul food spot in Charlotte. I drove here all the way from Spartanburg to give it a try! I had whiting, broccoli casserole, macaroni, and banana pudding. I’ll definitely will be back!

We really enjoy Floyd's Soul Food. Service was Superb! Our last visit 2/26/22 Great Compliments to the (Female) Drive thru Associate who was Very Welcoming, Pleasant Friendly and helpful...Shes A keeper! ?
