I feel like this place is trying to hard to be hip. I went there for lunch with a friend and felt like the food or the ambiance was basic at best. We both ordered salad with chicken and thw chicken didn't have any taste. Like, how do you mess up chicken? My friend bought a drink and it was horrible. I get that they're trying to be healthy, but hey don't charge people for lemonade only for them to realize that it's lemon water.
I think the only critique about the menu is, hopefully they'd have a greater dessert selection and greater portions, otherwise, impeccable food to serve a wide range of palates. the music inside was a Lil loud, but the music was really pleasant and hip. the outdoor music truly was memorable, nostalgic and entertained the crowd outside. if I'd listened to that music prior to going into Flower Child, I'd want to go in and see the restaurant. it would be good to connect the stereos to the live music playing on the outside, as a recommendation, but I still appreciated the vibes. the staff are amazing. ????⭐⭐?⭐⭐
The food was delicious! They notated allergens for glove changes. Staff was friendly, kind and radiated good energy. The rose lemonade was amazing. 10/10 recommended even if just for the atmosphere.
We were passing through and decided to stop here per a gluten-free app recommendation. I wish we had a Flower Child back in Greenville, SC! Just from looking at the storefront I knew we were in for a delightful experience. I loved all the unique menu offerings, including drink options! AND they even had some gluten-free cookies, muffins available, too! I ended up getting a Chopped Vegetable Salad with Grilled Chicken on top and it was delicious - didn't even need dressing! The next time I'm in Charlotte I want to make sure I come here again.
They make healthy ingredients taste amazing. Everything is fresh and made to order. You can even see each ingredients prepared in front of you. I was hesitant to try it out, but I’m glad I did. It is eating out, without the guilt.
The meals here are delicious and very healthy. Bear in mind though that mask policy is not enforced and many people inside are seen without masks. If that is important to you, there is also an outdoor patio that you can dine on.Overall friendly service and nice meals. Very well decorated, situated and located.
Okay. I am going to sound so mean this afternoon but this really happened. We had been here a few years ago when house hunting in Charlotte. It was a good experience.Today, we had an errand to run in the area & I suggested we go back to Flower Child. We live in DAVIDSON, coming to Charlotte is an adventure. Very different from the small town we live in.When we walked into Flower Child this afternoon. I said hello to a young lady that was in the Take Out area and she just gazed at me. I then said, I like your sweater and again, no response. I popped into the restroom & met my husband at the counter to order and I told him. He was like maybe she didn’t hear you, perhaps she’s got air pods in, something. The whole encounter just felt uncomfortable & unprofessional. I don’t think I have encountered such a thing. In fact, never!Managers, if you are reading this, perhaps a little talk to your people about rudeness might be in order.Let’s get right to the real reason we are here, to review the food.Here are some pics of lunch. I had the enchilada bowl and my husband had the Thai Wrap. He really liked his wrap. I felt my bowl was okay. I’m a bit spoiled. We eat out a lot & my husband can really cook. We enjoy grass fed meats & organic ingredients. I don’t think I would have that enchilada bowl again. I’ll try something else next time. The young lady that brought our food out was very nice! We had forgotten utensils and she went and got them for us. She made up for that horrible first impression.Oh yes, one big thing, the decor! Anthropologie vibes everywhere. Love that!To the young lady that wasn’t very nice, I hope you see this. Life is too short, be kind.
Been working across the street and smell there food everyday. Finally tried it after about 2 week. Got the Glow Bowl with A 16oz rose petal lemonade. The Bowl had an amazing flavor(spicy with a sweetish green taste) with a true earthy taste. The Rose petal lemonade was a little different for my liking but was good.
