I’ve eaten here a few times and have never been let down. Probably the BEST empanadas I’ve ever had. The pastry is delicate, delicious, and flakey, the fillings are plentiful and so yummy, and the folks behind the register are always so nice and helpful with suggestions if you’re not sure what to get. The 2 savory and 1 dessert empanadas is my favorite combo! Well worth the price.

Service was good with food ready in a reasonable amount of time. Did the 3 empanadas for $12. The Cubana was really good; the chicken was ok, the pizza not the best (too much marinara sauce). The cilantro sauce for dipping was good with the Cubana and chicken empanadas. Overall, I would probably put about a 3-3.5 rating. Decent food, good service, definitely worth the try, but I wouldn't necessarily go back given the many different choices here.
I love the empanadas and the sauces are so delicious. My favorites are the Cubano and Cheeseburger with the Yellow sauce. The empanadas are STUFFED with ingredients and the pastry is flaky
I have tried a lot of empanadas. And these are amazing. I ordered the empanadas with nutella and banana and the other was goat cheese, dates, ans bacon. Both had amazing flavor. Honestly, they didnt need any dipping sauce! The flavor and love that was put into making them is amazing. If you ever want an empanada, order them here!!!
The shepherds pie and chicken empanadas were great. Their sauce is really good too.
Tried 3 empanadas for $12, had pulled chorizo, bacon, egg & cheese and la Cubans. This is how I rated. La Cubana > pulled Chorizo > bacon egg and cheese. Actually not really a fan of bacon egg and cheese, it feels like a empanada filled with egg beaters with very little other fillings. But b/c other two were too good so I still give it a five. Their empanadas are made with puff pastry instead of flour dough, so it’s fluffy and not too dense. Wait is around 5-10 min when I got the txt. My husband grew up in S. America so he’s picky about the empanadas, but he gave a thumbs up on this.
Didn't find these to be enjoyable. Had Pizza, Cubano and apple crumble. The apple crumble was decent. It's the only one I'd get again. I do like Optimist Hall.

I went to this place because it had a long line so I thought there must be something good here. I ordered the fig and bacon, cheeseburger, and date empanada. All were “meh” mediocre. I wouldn’t say any empanada gave me an ooh ahhh and unfortunately the cheeseburger one was so greasy I couldn’t tell the meat from the cheese from the grease. I’m short, ya ok it’s worth one try just cuz but I wouldn’t make this place a staple. Sorry not sorry my reviews are honest.
