Apple cinnamon pancakes are good, grill sandwiches are not good, the service needs improvement. The candied bacon is good. The smoked sausage and chorizo are not good. I made a huge order and they missed a few things I paid for. I picked the place for their grits because my mother wanted grits. I didn't get the grits. Despite the fact that I didn't get what I paid for, the manager said she will tell the kitchen to do better next time. The people were nice. I did order to go which of course may make a big difference. The potatoes were undercooked. The Turkey and Brie sandwich and grill cheese sandwich were so overcooked that they were like hockey pucks.

Went three times over six months. Service is constantly very slow - was seated once for thirty minutes and no one came to even get my drink order. Food is a cut above fast food for sure but compared to other Toasts it left a good bit to be desired. It'll do in a pinch but other breakfast places nearby like Flying Biscuit or Another Broken Egg are better.

I got the biscuits & gravy with scrambled eggs. And coffee. My daughter had FRESHLY SQUEEZED orange juice (and it was delicious). It's nice to get a real biscuit once in a while, not the over processed and sometimes crunchy biscuits at the fast food places and FTB biscuits didn't disappoint.Usually I'm not much of a gravy person but I had a craving for biscuits and jelly too so this worked out. I've got to say the gravy was good if a bit too thin. It had a nice flavor with a hint of sweetness. The food was served rather fast even though the business was full. And my server was on top with the coffee refills. All in all I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch and I would go back.

We we’re so disappointed we came to this restaurant to eat breakfast hearing good things we went there first off the hostess didn’t even greet us we stood there for 10 minutes then finally she asked us how many then there were 12 tables open I counted and they said it would be a 35 min wait worst service I’ve had since being here from out of town if I could give a no star I would have them we went to the metro diner and I’m glad they pretty much turned us away the food was amazing at the metro this restaurant should practice better customer service or any customer service

The 1st time I went to this restaurant it was the Concord NC location. My experience was mediocre there...However, the Ballantyne location is right on point. The food was fresh, it looked great and it tasted even better than I expected.

Famous Toastery of Ballantyne continues to deliver big on service and quality. Pictured here is the western omelet, grits, rye toast with a coffee and mimosa. Great way to start your day with a high quality visit at this location. Be sure to get there before the 2pm closure daily!

Excellent customer service, cozy environment and good food. This is 3rd location I visited.

Good as always. Had out town guests from NH they loved it

There is a serious time management issues with this place. Waited over 90 minutes for a table and hostess kept saying 10 to 15 mins more. Come to find out the place was severely under staffed. Hostess are not trained well and poor leadership. The waitress redeemed the initial poor review I was going to give this place. The food and mimosas were good, waitress was very courteous.Still there is lots of opportunity to improve wait times so customers are not waiting 90 minutes to be seated.

The French toast was fine. I ordered the strawberries and cream and got two strawberries but that’s not my biggest problem . I ordered cheese grits and got this mess. I tried calling to get my money back but the mail box is full. Unsure why this was okay to send through door dash. It’s literally a half melted piece of cheese on grits. Why did I pay almost $5 dollar for that?? I’d like my money back please.
