Thank you waiter Ron your service was Wonderful. Such a kind young man. You were masked, polite and very attentive. Keep up the good work and grow further...Be Well and Safe
Our table wait staff was very respectful. She appeared to want to do her best. And was proficient at her work. There were 3 in our party. Afterward, two of the three of us received our food. My wife did not receive anything. After my wife waited for at least 10-15 minutes after everyone else was served she stated that if she had to wait much longer, she will be canceling her order. She had already had a difficult week. She was looking to relax and eat.I took that as a "Call to action".I asked to speak with the manager. The "manager" happened to be "Mark", the owner. He offered nothing regarding my question as to why my wife was offered no updates about her food delivery time, or whether she would ever receive it in the 1st place. He, at first was very respecrful, but eventually seemed condescending to me; albeit, I was not especially happy in my statements to him.He asked me my name. I refused to give it.Our waitress instructed me to pay at the front desk. However, subsequently, she took my signed credit card receipt, with my name on that receipt, herself.I thought this was strange since I was told previously to pay at the front desk.I later wondered whether this was an attempt for Mark to determine, covertly, my name.Nevertheless, do not visit this specific location. I've been to other Famous Toastery's with much better food.I hope the best for our hardworking, proficient, kind waitstaff employee who served us. She always had a smile on her face. Not sure whether I wish the same for Mark. It's a franchise; therefore, I may give a call to corporate whom Mark gave me "permission" to do
Staff is super friendly, but I wouldn’t dare stay to eat… the sanitation score is a 91.5!!!!Addition since owner’s reply:I didn’t check the date, so, I’ll take your word. Pandemic or not, I personally choose not to eat at an establishment with that rating.. just personal choice. I love Famous Toastery all around.
I'm starting this review early and starting it at three stars. It can go up or down. This is the reason for the start. They state they can't seat more than six people. I had seven people. Then they tell me 30 min. 30 mins go by, and then they tell me it'll be longer since you have a bigger party. As I observe, I see plenty of tables open that they could put together. So for starters, the service and empathy aren't there. To be continued... this is the post review... Nara was fantastic, very attentive, and helpful. The food was cold and hard but tasty interestingly. I would give this place another try on a day they are adequately staffed.
Completely messed up my order. Told them I wanted a chicken wrap with just grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, no bacon because I do not eat pork. Sure enough it had bacon on it, barely any chicken, noooo onions and of course the only thing they got right was the tomatoes. Could not eat my food, wasted my money, and had to get an entirely new breakfast, please do better. Really awful experience, will never go back.
I always have a great experience at this location. Staff is friendly and attentive, not too crowded if you go between 8 and 1030am, food is always amazing. I always get the breakfast combo with a waffle on the side and my fiance gets thr biscuits and sausage gravy. I highly recommend!
Overall disappointing experience. Waited longer than expected for our table, then when we were seated our waitress took about 10 minutes to come. She took our drink order and disappeared for another several minutes. Once we ordered, our food came relatively quickly, but we were not given utensils. We asked and had to wait another several minutes while our server bussed other tables and eventually disappeared entirely as our food started to get cold. Had to wait for her to come back out and ask a second time to finally receive utensils. The sauces on the table were unusable too as they both were supposed to be refrigerated and one had clearly gone bad and was badly discolored. The butter and creamer on the table were hot/melted from sitting in the sun. Not surprising given the health score is only a 91 though. Will not be dining here again, and I do not recommend the experience to others. We’ve enjoyed Famous Toastery before, but this location is subpar and could do MUCH better (even with short staffing and supplies).
This is what my order from DoorDash looks like. Supposed to be the stuffed French toast with strawberries and cream cheese. I’m not sure if they ran out of the two? But this looks like strawberry flavored cream cheese with clumps of something white in it. The side of “turkey” is extremely dry, cold, and tough.
I came for breakfast because I had been craving eggs Benedict and I was not disappointed. My eggs were poached perfectly, the hollandaise had a great consistency, and my English muffin was toasted perfectly. I'll definitely be back again for a great breakfast and fantastic coffee!
I never write reviews but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant to date. My friend and I went in for breakfast and were told it would be a 20 minute wait. Over 30 minutes later we were sat and received horrible service from our waitress. I understand being low staffed but this waitress was in no hurry. Food came and I was missing my pancake and my friend quickly found a black hair in her French toast. Waitress never came to check on the food. When we grabbed her my friend showed her the hair in her food to which the waitress responded “oh ok” and took the plate away. After sitting there we eventually went to the host stand to pay since the waitress was nowhere to be found. I’ve been to other famous toasteries that delivered! HIRE BETTER SERVERS. Will not be returning to this location- save your time and money.
