The food was great. They have two seating areas near the front corner which is nice since seating can be limited at Optimist Hall. I would recommend getting a bench or some other seating if you have a newborn still in a car seat. Otherwise, I would recommend it.

My first time having Ethiopian food and it was fantastic. Bethel was our server she was very patient and really helped us understand the choices lived it. Highly reccomend the honey wine to drink and while normally I'm a beef fan I must admit the lamb with spices sauce was incredible. Really nice servings and very reasonably priced. Yum! Bravo!

Some of the best Ethiopian food I have had in a very long time (outside of Addis Ababa and Washington, DC) and certainly the best in Charlotte. The food is absolutely delicious and the prices are very, very reasonable. I really appreciated two aspects of the food: 1) the blend of traditional dishes with some with a subtle modern twist (eg, lentils with horseradish) works really well; 2) the doro wat is served separately in a traditional bowl, which keeps it warm, allows the spices to continue stewing and allows for adding to the injera plate as needed. The fact that this is very much a family-run establishment (brother and sister serving, aunt cooking) makes it all the better, in my mind. An enthusiastic 5 stars. I highly recommend.

Finally I got to try this restaurant I have heard so much about. I ordered a door dash and it came so quick. The classic tibs ribeye was so flavorful and tender. The Tikel gomen was flavorful too. I loved the enjera the spongy texture is sooo delicious. I’ll definitely be back for more!

If you have never had Ethiopian food you have missed out. Dining at an Ethiopian restaurant is an experience if you opt for a shared plate. We ordered a Family meal for the four of us and truly enjoyed the flavors of all the dishes served. If you enjoy India, Thai, Middle-Eastern foods you will enjoy anything you order at Enat. This is a family run restaurant and they have brought their family recipes to share with you.

Absolutely delicious! Our server was very friendly and most helpful in honing our choices with great recommendations, and everything was perfect. Wonderful food, cozy atmosphere, great experience. We will be back!

Food was amazing and the staff was very friendly! Thank you for having a vegan option!!

Review by @SoldByMarvin on all platforms. We stopped by this restaurant on our way in visiting from Atlanta. This restaurant has vegan options and was open pretty late. We got the family veggie plate as well as Samosa. Staff was attentive and the restaurant was very cozy on the inside. It was priced right and some of the options on the family plate were very spicy but tasty. We will definitely be back next time we visit Charlotte.

I’m just this little white lady from the sticks, and let me tell you. This is the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten!!! I got the enat special, firfir tibs and kitfo ( tartar) y’all gotta get the sambusas too!!!

One of the best restaurants in the area! Good hospitality & clean restaurant. A must try if you like spicy & delicious food. Will definitely come again and with friends next time. See you soon Enat❤️
