Just steps from the lightrail you'll find Elizabeth creamery. I got a scoop of the Smurf ice cream which was a cotton candy flavor with marshmallows and my girlfriend got a peach milkshake. Both were delicious. They even have seats to enjoy your ice cream outside. You should 100% check them out!
We stopped by here in the afternoon just based on Google reviews. Super cute little shop with friendly owners. The ice cream was good but the waffle cones were awesome. They make them there, which amazed me. Very airy, not dense like commercial ones. It's worth the visit!
Definitely go to Elizabeth Creamery if you are in the Charlotte area! The ice cream was incredibly creamy and my mom said the chocolate peanut butter ice cream was "the best she ever had." The owners were very friendly and were generous with their servings! Highly recommend!
This place is a joke. For such a nice area, it needs a better ice cream spot. The ice cream is mediocre at best and is clearly purchased from a food-vendor like Hersheys. If you expect homemade ice cream go elsewhere.
Elizabeth Creamery ice cream is rich and delicious home made ice cream. My favorite was Ginger, as it was a unique surprise. Will return for the black cherry.
The ice cream here is delicious. I got the strawberry cheesecake and my brother got a vegan option (sorbet maybe) and enjoyed that as well. The place doesn’t try to go over the top like a lot of the trendy places in the city. They serve the classics and do a great job at it. The man working was so polite and patient, would come back just for him!!
I loved the waffle cones they’re the best waffle cone I’ve ever had! They are homemade, the ice cream is ok. Not many selections of toppings but the best option near downtown Charlotte for sure!
The couple that owns this place is so cute!! The ice cream was so good. This was my first time here in North Carolina & apparently people really suggest it. So glad I went here. They have a good selection of flavors. Go!

Nice, family-owned ice cream option in the Elizabeth area. No frills, standard selection of flavors, but didn’t really see options for toppings. Maybe I missed it. The man working that night was very polite. Things to note: COVID protocols are still in effect here. No indoor dining and there’s a sign asking for masks to be worn. I can respect that and had one on me but if that’s not for you, keep that in mind before coming!
