I’ve eaten there many times, however this time the ingredients on my bagel sandwich were anorexic at best. Maybe they’re in financial trouble. Lol
One of the better bagel places I've tried around here. Had it twice last week and first time had a turkey sausage and cheddar and a chocolate chip coffee cake, it was delicious! Second time had a plain bagel with butter and there was almost no butter on that bagel, so I went home and buttered it myself. I'll make sure to specify extra butter next time I order. The hot chocolate here is also delicious!

Went into the store to pick up an order, and to buy a Chai Tea Latte. The cashier was with another customer so I waited until she was done. Another customer came in and she greeted him respectfully. After completing the order with the customer, she immediately went to the new customer, without even saying anything to me. I interjected and said, I have a pick up. She said I'll get it in a minute, and continued with the new customer. Then another worker gave her my pick up, and she put it on the counter without even a word to me, all the while continue laughing and speakingwith the new customer. Another customer looked at me and shook his head. She is definitely a terrible customer service professional. With service like that I can only imagine how the food will come out!!!??????
This location was very disappointing pertaining to cleanliness. There was trash everywhere on the floor below the tables, throughout the restroom, and the trash bins were overflowing. I felt uncomfortable eating indoors.
Einstein Bros. Bagels was introduced me when I was hanging out in San Antonio, Texas last month. The Beef Brisket Bagel was EVERYTHING! Therefore, I was too excited to learn that Einstein Bro. Bagels was in my own backyard and I didn’t even know it! I decided to visit the location on South Blvd on this past Friday! Something told me do not order, being that it was 2:30pm and the location closes at 3:00pm! Needless to say, there was no greeting to start! The WHOLE staff was sweeping, moving patio furniture etc. The manager took my order and it wasn’t pleasant! The young lady who fixed the sandwich didn’t wash her hands, on top of that, all I seen was her put the egg in the microwave, didn’t see gloves on until she went to cut the sandwich. Instead of me saying anything, I stayed humble. After leaving the location, I felt so sick thinking about the experience, I ended up going to The Waterman to get a Lobster roll and fry! Needless to say, I wasted money on purchasing At Einstein! When I got home, I actually throw away the sandwich and said it’s money lost! I will never step foot in this location again. Please hire people that enjoy their job, not individuals that’s looking for just a check! Bad bad experience, and not customer friendly!
No egg on my bacon, egg and cheese.. cheese wasn’t even attempted to be melted. Just not great, will be going further down to the other bagel shop from now on. I know workers are difficult to come by but they could at least pretend they didn’t want to be anywhere but there
The staff are soooooo nice. Definitely going to eat here again. The farmhouse is one of there popular sandwiches.
If you're an immigrant or POC, expect to be ignored, dismissed, and unwelcomed by their staff, which is ironic since their staff are mostly immigrant themselves.Came in today (12/18/21 at 12:30 p.m.) and the staff were just looking away and pretend to be busy would be doing something else such as wiping tables that are already clean. And once a staff member (host name Paula on the receipt) decided to take my order, they drag their feet and took forever to get my drink and food, it wasn't until a not POC customer came in that they got on their feet. No thank you, just shove your food an drink to you. Plus, they eye you up and down as if saying you don't belong in their establishment. Furthermore, one of the staff member's family members were there visiting and have the kids running around impeding the customers and staff is unapologetic as if the customer's presence there is an inconvenient to their family. gathering. Rude and disrespectful staff esp. to their own kind.
They are very rude here at the south boulevard location. I am a pregnant woman who was on my lunch break. I typically love this company but I walked in today and attempted to place an order, I was not greeted at all, a black girl and a white woman were working the front of the store one was mopping the entire store and another bagging orders for customers which I understand. Me and another gentleman waited patiently in line for someone to take our order for close to 5 minutes, eventually after being patient I asked if anyone was able to take my order.Mind you the black girl is literally just mopping the floor she tells me she’ll get to me when she’s done. The white lady tells me I could have just ordered online if I didn’t want to wait. I just walked out hungry and disappointed because all they needed to do was be more polite and kind.Bagging orders for other customers is worth being patient but cleaning and mopping when you have a line is rude, disrespectful and bad for business. I was so offended I couldn’t even speak I just walked out. I needed to leave this review so I could ensure this type of behavior isn’t common place here and hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else.The date is November 30th 2021, time was about 1:30pm, I am 30 weeks pregnant. And still hungry and disappointed as I’m typing this. Will definitely never be back. I won’t give this place another chance to disappoint me like this again. Respect people’s patience and time!
