Service was decent. Me and my boyfriend stopped by after a short trip. Always wanted to try since it was built. We ordered the fried pickles (which were scrumptious, their ranch is too—) and he got a burger while I got a wrap. His burger came out very well done, while my wrap was missing a few components. We told our server who directed us to a manager. They fixed everything up for us. Will be returning, things happen and I believe in the power of a good wrap.

Horrible manager. We walked over from Lifetime to have a drink. They were on a 30 minute wait. We bought our drinks from the bar and sat at the big table behind the bar. The manager came over and said, we can't sit there because they were on a wait. I asked, if we could sit there until they were going to seat a party because there was no space at the bar. He immediately said, NO! See the picture below, there were plenty of places to seat people. So disappointed, we will never be back with friends, parties or any other events. A good manager would have said, YES. You are spending money with us. Thank you for coming, I will let you know when we need to seat this area.

Great selection of local and North Carolina beers on draught.

Duckworth's Grill and Taphouse at Waverly is alive and well! Great food, prompt service, and plenty of entertainment for the whole family both indoors and outdoors. From big screens showing March Madness basketball to ping pong table and Connect Four outdoors, it is fun for all ages. We elected to stay indoors this time even though there was a working fire pit and gas lanterns outdoors. The pretzel bites and beer batter mustard dipping sauce, Margarita pizza, and fresh guacamole dip and chips were perfectly balance for our outing. With a side of fried pickles, we can say it was a full appetizer meal-for-two! It you really want to experience a pleasant cocktail, try the Tropical Sunset and take it all in. We'll done to the whole Duckworth's Grill team at Waverly ?

Had excellent service from our waitress Kehlie for lunch Saturday, 3/6/2022 at Duckworth's! She did an outstanding job serving our 3-person table, and was very friendly, as well as very competent. The warm pretzel appetizer was very delicious, as were the extremely large plate of nachos! Saturday at lunch time, the restaurant was not crowded, and we were able to get seated in a booth that had walls on 3 sides, which it made it very easy to hold a conversation. The restaurant never got very noisy, which our table greatly appreciated. The food, service, and atmosphere all rated 5 stars from us!

Miami mike Anderson is the best server that duckworth’ ever have. He is great with the coustomers and great working with the rest of the staff. I think he deserves a $50 dollar raise and promoted to head manager.

Incredible food with great service. The classy but modern bar with tons of live sport action TVs surrounding the bar area is awesome. Duckworth’s also has many tables around the restaurant for a quieter lunch or dinner as well. Definitely recommend!

Great food and drink. Value for money

Until tonight, my husband and I were avid Duckworth’s fans. We’ve been to every single location numerous times in the last 7 years. Before the pandemic, we went so often and spent so much money that we had a ton of points in their beer club. However, after tonight’s experience, we probably won’t step foot in a Duckworth’s again. Tonight we tried to have a nice family dinner at the Rea Farms location at 5pm. It wasn’t empty, but it definitely wasn’t super crowded either. We brought our 14 month old with us, so we asked to sit outside for a better ambiance. When we spoke to the host and asked for outside seating, the manager told us he didn’t know if they had seating available outside…even though we walked past 4 or 5 open tables on our way into the restaurant. He also said something about how people like to go out there and drink and camp out for hours. I asked how long of a wait it would be to be seated out there. Then a host took us to a table. We sat there for 15 minutes and not a single staff person acknowledged us. However, while we were sitting there waiting, 2 different waitresses and the manager walked right past us to check on other tables who were seated after us numerous times. It seemed like we were being ignored to show preference to larger groups or individuals who were partaking in the “drinking and camping out for hours” as the manager mentioned before. Overall, it really felt like we just didn’t fit their perceived target audience since they didn’t want to seat us in the first place. After 15 minutes, we informed the host we were leaving due to lack of service. We walked right into the Improper Pig right down the street and it was just as busy, but they treated us so much better. We are so disappointed in Duckworth’s and will no longer be recommending it to anyone from this point forward. Anybody who has kids knows the ordeal it is to go out like this, so to be treated so poorly and then have to risk a toddler meltdown to pack everything up and go on to the next place is simply unacceptable. It seems like it really all boils down to poor management and discriminatory waitresses because this was such an odd experience compared to all the other positive experiences we’ve had at Duckworth’s through the years. We understand that everywhere is struggling to keep enough staff right now. If someone would have just spoken to us and told us they would be right with us, we would have graciously understood. But everybody, including the manager, just kept walking right past us, as if we didn’t exist.

Well. It's a bit of sporte bar/family restaurant. I'll just dive in - the bloddy Mary was a no. I then ordered a strawberry marg which was a bit better. For food we ordered Chicken nachos and I'm glad it didn't have melted gooy cheese that takes ove the nachos. It was good. We also ordered chicken philly and I have to say the bread was very very dry. It's standard food. Nothing special. Rr could use a bit of tlc. Herrs my gripe about this place- the booths they have are Not for plus size people. Very very crammed . I fail to understand why wouldn't a restaurant have more inclusive, comfortable seating. We felt like we were stuck and I had to wiggle, acrobat my way out of the booth. I was originally going to give it 3 stars but the embarrassing moment just flashed by. Please, do pay attn to your service staff. Lady was very nice but seemed over worked.
