We always enjoy our dinners at Dogwood. We went to a spirits tasting by Diageo and it was outstanding. Winter served our drinks and they were delicious. Kudos to Michele for treating our group with grace and a smile. All the staff was attentive and made us feel welcome.
The food here was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. I do feel like our little table was too small for all the food and was too close to some other tables. I also think that they would do better sales by offering a non-alcoholic drink menu.
Food was very good, must try the duck and dumplings. Our waiter was very attentive, we had great service. Only downside was it was noisy inside. Would go back there again.

Such an outstanding experience. Not one but two managers came by our table, one even thanked us for being there. In this day-and-age it seems many restauranteurs are bothered by their customers and give bristly service - not Dogwood. We felt valued and appreciated from the moment we arrived, when the server actually opened the door for us. Well done, we will be back soon! :-)
Great for a work group with craft cocktails and the urging to eat the state on your plate. Every preparation was delicious. The staff were great. Food was hot, tasty and easy to share. Canât wait to go back.
Food was great. Wine too. And ambience is nice but the service was wanting, considering the price. For example, we had a group of 8 and our entrees did not come out at the same time. Those of us that ordered the Supper, which was a shareable meal between couples, had their entree come out roughly 40 minutes after the rest of us who had ordered individual meals from the menu. Rule #1, you should have all entrees come out together for a large group. How skyward it was that half the table was eating while the other half waited. They need to fix that. Also, there was no rapport developed by waitress and we felt rushed. Within 2 minutes of sitting she was already asking for drink orders. Chill! You need to welcome the group to the restaurant, maybe share the specials, ask what the occasion is, etc. Slow down! Theyâre clearly not trained properly for an upscale restaurant where short ribs are $45. If youâre going to run with the big boys, you need to train staff accordingly.
Dogwood was amazing. The menu is really fun and everything we ordered tasted wonderful. We ordered the âSupperâ for two to share. Our server was fun, kind and proficient. The decor is modern and beautiful. I highly recommend Dogwood.
My wife and I came for an anniversary dinner and the staff went above and beyond to make it feel special. We had the Duck and Dumplings, NC shrimp, Wagyu Flank and cheesecake. Everything was spectacular but my wife thought the Shrimp was good but not great. Will be back again!
