You know a Vietnamese restaurant is good when you walk in and see Vietnamese people eating there lol. We ordered summer rolls, fried quail, broken rice dishes and Vietnamese yellow pancakes and wow…every single dish was amazing and pretty close to home. Staff and service is great too. My family and I will be returning.

After begging and begging my partner to try something different, the first time left a really good impression ! The Tom Yum packed tons of flavor , the broth was excellent didn’t leave a drop. My partner got the Vermicelli with pork and I got the Singapore style noodles ( both really tasty choices ) . Nothing was left on the plate . Coming back again ?

What kind of Vietmese restaurant does not serve veggies with the egg roll? The authenticity of it is to have those veggies because the flavor is so much better. Seriously, how can you say it is authentic and not serve with the condiments with it like in Vietnam? That is like having a cheeseburger and refuse to serve it with the lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles with the Mayo, mustard and ketchup?

Great food! Especially like the house special noodle soup. Great atmosphere with not a lot of frills but very well kept, clean, and the professionalism and personalities of the staff is just plain awesome! Highly recommend

The food here is amazing! Of all the Vietnamese restaurants in town, this is my favorite. I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for Vietnamese. Everything is so good so you can’t go wrong with anything you choose.

Amazing food. Pho is absolutely delicious. Summer rolls amazing . Great friendly service. Very reasonable.

We love Doan’s! Just moved to the area and this has been a takeout staple. Very flavorful, super fresh, excellent portions and wonderful service. Highly recommend! We love the summer rolls, Shanghai noodles, bun bo hue, vermicelli bowls… you can’t go wrong.

Stopped here to get some Vietnamese food after returning from Iceland via New York. Pho (dac biet) was very good, portion was large, price very reasonable. Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef udon) was good, wish the had pigs feet or blood cubes. The fried tofu & summer rolls (goi cuon) were just ok, wish they add some fresh herbs in the rolls. Place was busy. Service was quick, but I did have to flag down our server. Iced milk coffee was great, strong & sweet. 4.5 is a fair score for this place. Very extensive menu, would like to return & try other items - 2.5 hrs drive for us from Augusta, GA.

Good food, good ambience and good value. What else you can ask for? We had a late lunch here with wanton soup and pho. The portion was enough for a person. I would visit again and would recommend too.

Doan’s Vietnamese Cuisine is a great little Vietnamese restaurant in south Charlotte. We are quite fortunate to have four very good Vietnamese restaurants on South Boulevard. They are Doan’s, Vietnam Grille, Saigon Palace and Crispy Bahn Mi. All of them are great! In the old days, I had to trek out to Central Avenue or Shamrock Drive to get excellent Vietnamese food. Now it’s in my backyard!Doan’s does a very good representation of Vietnamese cuisine. Their summer rolls are always fresh. Their spring rolls are always crunchy and not greasy. The vermicelli bowls (Bun) are served warm with lots of fresh herbs. The Pho is always great as well. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. If you want to experience Vietnamese cuisine then you won’t go wrong visiting here.
