Amazing is the only word to describe this place! The Salmon Bowl is definitely my fav. Alli is the best waitress ever. She remembered my order from the prior visit and was great with everything! Drink are amazing as well!!! Best place hands down

Food was excellent! I got the pad thai. Wasn’t too busy and the service was great and personable too.

Food was exceptional. Highly recommend the sushi boat. Service was exceptional.

My family enjoyed every meal and appetizer we ordered. It was a great Mother’s Day Dinner.

I was surprised to see Khao Piak Sen on the menu, especially in Charlotte. It is one of my favorite dishes. I don’t expect entirely authentic, because fusion done well can be satisfying as well. However, it tastes nothing remotely close to what it should taste like and it should be called something else or taken off the menu. Why bother putting something hard to find on the menu to only completely butcher it? What an absolute disgrace. Even for fusion food, it’s terrible. The broth tastes much closer to takeout wonton soup than anything. At least the friendly waitstaff was nice enough for me to switch it out with something else that tasted half decent. My response to the restaurant’s response: it’s great that your broth is homemade and slow cooked, but it does not make the dish authentic. The flavor doesn’t have to be “heavy”. The broth is supposed to be thick and not too runny. You use udon noodles as the noodle (even though the menu said you use rice noodles) when it’s supposed to be tapioca noodles. No taste of garlic, no depth in flavor. Who puts bok choy in a khao piak sen? I can go on and on. And I’m not saying that the dish needs to be authentic. Americanized Asian food can be good too, but this dish just isn’t good. Name the dish something else maybe, because it’s not Khao Piak Sen. Can you not take criticism?

We thought this was affiliated with the other Deejai Thai in Charlotte but it’s not. The food was extremely Meh. I just returned from Thailand and the food isn’t on par with the other Deejai. The larb is served cold which is very unusual, and the Tom Yum was bland and underwhelming. The server had a brusque and unfriendly attitude. Would not go back.

Great food, but the staff messed up our order.

I had date night here and we split the Panther Roll and the House Fried Rice with chicken. The house fried rice was the best we’ve had in CLT hands down. It tasted so fresh and flavorful and the chicken did as well. The Panther Roll left a little to be desired, for a roll that had so much going on it really lacked flavor. The cream cheese was the only thing coming through even with the shrimp and crab. However, I’d really love to try their sushi again. The customer service was excellent and I felt really welcomed!

Went on a Saturday night. We were seated quickly but it took a while before the waiter greeted us. It was busy so understandable. We ordered crispy spring rolls, “spicy” chicken pad thai, and a dancing eel roll. The spring rolls and eel roll were great, but that pad Thai… tasted like sweet ketchup.
