Recently increased their menu prices on all items and taste not good at all and I found rock in my fried rice. Luckily I found in my mouth what if I swallowed or crushed? Its spicy at all, I ordered with spicy .

Wonderful spot for Indian food. Always delicious, large portions, good value, and service. Would recommend and will be back.

Crazy overpriced. Super small portion sizes for the price. Two small pieces of Naan per order. Very small cup of rice per order. 4 bite size pieces of Lamb per order. Very oily compared with most Indian. Not even close to worth the money.

They swap / change orders without consulting the customer, very unprofessional and lack customer service and not even apologetic about their dishonesty. They totally ruined our Friday evening. We placed an order at 7:15pm and made us wait till 9:50pm and kept mentioning it will be ready in 10mins for an hour after reaching the restaurant. Manager was seen outside smoking and didn’t have the courtesy to even clear / attend to the confusion. We were astonished by their lack luster attitude and walked out without even taking the money back.

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised how great the customer service was. Ambiance was nice as well but the food was just amazing! Dakshin is a hidden gem of south Charlotte.

Overall the food is very good - just inconsistent service. My wife's fish was well seasoned, unfortunately half of it was cooked to a rock-like consistency. When the waiter offered to substitute it for shrimp, they brought out another type of fish.... My lamb biryani was very good. Dal, paneer and bread were good. Don't like scanning the menu.... Pay by CC, but tip they want in cash. Staff is friendly. Just get an amateurish vibe. Not sure if I'll return with so many other Indian options available.

Ive been in this city for the past 8 months and hands down this is the BEST Indian restaurant I’ve been to. The chefs have mastered the art of incorporating authentic Indian spices and flavour and they produce a variety of dishes. Along with the food the people who work here are very patient and helpful, I was so confused with what to order and they patiently took me through the entire menu. Lastly, for the quantity and taste I think the price is a perfect match. Would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try what Indian food is like and also to those who want to reminisce about food from back home.

I have had quite a few dishes from Dakshin in the past, including the chicken 777 which is my favorite. Their menu has a lot of variety that satisfies both vegetarians and non-veg lovers. My personal favorite would be the bejawada chicken biryani. The staff are also very friendly. It’s definitely my go to spot!

Fantastic Indiana food! We've had fried cauliflower, garlic Roti, Chickpea Masala, Okra Masala and Basmati Rice. Everything was excellent but the Okra Masala was exceptional. They were also accommodating and made everything dairy free for us.

Dakshin has gone to hell: Dirty, Poor Rating of 86 ‘B’ to starters. The plates are dusty (in fact the whole restaurant has cleanly issues - dread to know about the kitchen). Plates are left on the table getting dusty before dining. The Samosas were still frozen. The management seems not to care about the quality of food or the customer. I have eaten Indian my whole life and will never eat here again. Do yourselves a favor and search alternative Indian dining in the area; many and far better.
