This was our first time at Customshop, and the whole experience was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was fresh, creative, and delicious. And, the ambiance was quiet and peaceful. A new favorite restaurant for us!
Had a late dinner there with a co-worker. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was great, but some of the food items didn't hit the mark. We shared the crispy pork belly and hamachi crudo and were disappointed in both. While the quality of the pork belly and hamachi was high, what accompanied them missed the mark. There was almost no flavor, let alone spice, in the broth for the pork belly. Same with the lemon-parmesan cream. Maybe it was just an off night? I had the ribeye deckle, which was astounding after the first course. Very high-quality beef that was cooked to perfection. The fingerling potatoes were also fantastic. Don't recall what my co-worker had, but they enjoyed it as well. Overall good but not at a level that would justify the price. I would not suggest this place to a friend but would be OK with giving it another shot.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was perfectly prepared. Greg, our waiter was full of advise for first time patrons, and was just very nice. All in, it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.
Our dinner was delicious from start to finish - starter, salad, entrees and dessert. Also enjoyed creative and refreshing cocktails.
