This is the top Indian food restaurant in the Charlotte area in my opinion. The creativity with basic dishes, the incredible service I receive time and time again and the consistency with the high quality of food keeps me coming back.
We came for our 7th year anniversary on Sunday 8/9/22. We arrived exactly 1 hour before closing for lunch. Our server was this girl with dark hair and glasses. She never introduced herself, didn't explain the specials, pretty much just sat us down and got our food, and checked back once. She didn't even offer to box up the leftovers. I tipped her 15% yet she never said thank you, even though I did to her. I was disappointed with the service, and the ambiance. The windows had some stains on them, the pillars outside were old and the paint was peeling, the outside doormat was dirty. Although three of the entrees were tasty the rice was undercooked. I would not come back for a major celebration maybe for a casual lunch. I expected more from a $$$ restaurant.
If you are looking for good, authentic Indian food, Cooper is an excellent option.
The food was good as always, but the place is starting to look a little worn. The service was decent, but exceptional service is hard to find these days. Will be back
We went to Coopers with out of town friends and the food was wonderful. It is about a 20 minute drive from our house however, my husband and I will definitely come back again soon.
My experience from the waiter to our food recommendations were EXCELLENT! Definitely coming back for more get-together/family dinners!
The food was great as usual. I have never been disappointed here so far. Service was good too. The only thing that could improve is the available space, it feels a little congested.
