A friend told me that I "needed" to try this place during my trip to Charlotte, so, the last night there I gave it a go.I ordered inside because the drive-thru was busy AF. It took me a minute to figure out what I wanted because the ENTIRE F'ING MENU is customizable. So you pick your sandwich and what you want on it or what "style" you want. You then choose what sides you want (fries and cheese curds in my case) but if you don't want any sides you can double up on the sandwich. Choose your drink (or shake, or float) and you're done. The burger ("cheddar" style) was better than I expected. The cheese curds were good too and the extra onion rings I got were ok (I prefer battered over breaded) but the fries were lukewarm.Overall, really good and the customization is nice, I'll go back when I'm near one again.

I'm not local, I'm from Idaho, and cook out is the best thing ever in my life.We went with take out because the drive thru line is always infinity long, and for how busy they always are, they move fast. Not Chick-fil-A fast, but faster than other places. The food is delicious, it's not good for you in ANYWAY, but I keep coming back because it's addicting. The walnut shake is the best one btw

Generally I really like cook out. However, the drive through is way to slow now, they don’t have enough people working. Went I and got a hotdog tray for my son and a ice tea and onion rings for myself. 1/2 hour later, I had my son walk back up and ask where things were. I believe they forgot our order. When it came, they gave me Fruit punch, and forgot the onion rings. When I went back up about the drink and onion rings, they got me the correct drink k but said, oh, yea, we are out of Onion rings. Nothing more. I had to ask if I can get a replacement or my money back. They finally gave me some hush puppy’s. Sorry, but cookout is probably off our list for a while. At least until it looks like they can get more and better staff.

I was very surprised at their level of customer service. Very friendly, sweet disposition. The food was good as well. The prices are very easy on the pocket. My favorite part of the experience was the customer service. Good job guys!

My order was simply. The only thing I gets here is my milk shake. I love their Oreo mint milkshake. Oh yeah once in every blue moon I may get a hotdog all the way if the hotdog man not working target parking lot that day. I prefer his hotdogs. Prices are reasonable. Service ok.. I love the location. I can leave Aldi's and skip right over to Cookout or Wendy's. It's all within walking distance of each other.

I just want to say I went there last night after work at about 10:30 PM the line was 20 cars deep and I only saw two people working. They did amazing! They deserve a raise for sure.

DONT GO!!! Avoid. Super slow. Staff will have you sit at the drive thru for 5 mins before even acknowledging you then say that can’t hear you then go silent again. Having a staff people is understandable but at least have people with good customer service. I just pulled off because it wasn’t even worth it

Food was alright, and while I have sympathy for the employees who are certainly overworked, underpaid, and understaffed…1) when trying to make sure WE had said our order correctly, the employee said “I know, you told me already”2) the exact same thing we had been attempting to clarify in 1, a MINT Oreo shake was wrong.3) the side of cheese bites had 4 cheese bites and 5 hush puppies in the bag, and we did not order hush puppies.4) when I came back to ask for the mint Oreo shake, despite happily waiting at least 5 minutes at the window before someone was able to get to me due to the drive thru being so packed, the employee said “looks green to me, but whatever” which… I understand, but first, that’s something you say in your head, and secondly- I tried it! Multiple times! I HATE coming back and being a bother so I wanted to MAKE SURE I wasn’t just “missing” the mint taste. I tasted it- no mint.Overall- they need more employees scheduled at a time, more training, possibly better lighting and to pay for their employees to get their vision checked.

Drive-thru intercom had a little noise and some delay, so the person taking orders had a bit of trouble understanding me. Yet, she remained calm and patient, super customer service.

When this place gets busy they get really busy. The plus side is they almost always get your order right. Personally I have never had an issue but I have known others to have issues.
