Always super busy so expect a wait when you go! Food was pretty good besides the corn dog was super cold. We do the cookout trays because it’s cheap and you can have a variety. I always go with the big dbl burger with extra cheese mayo and ketchup, chicken quesadilla, and switch up my last side (Cajun fries are the best) with a huge Diet Coke, mint chocolate chip or peanut butter milkshake…pb one is so good. My bf likes the chicken sandwich, chicken quesadilla, and the chicken wrap (my least fav item…a chicken finger with so much tortilla). Places like this usually aren’t super consistent from location to location but the shakes always hit the spot! It’s a place we like to stop at on a lazy night or if it’s late and nothing else is open.
Just left. The person at the window was nice but just not a good listener. My order was incorrect and didn’t have time to go back. This cookout is a hit or miss. I come here on my lunch break a couple of times a month. Sometimes my order is perfect and others it’s just all the way wrong. Good service includes doing things the right way the first time not only being friendly.
The new manager Julio ( short Hispanic male who can barely speak English) was outwardly disrespectful and rude. I placed an order, he got majority of the order wrong, I was overcharged and called me a liar before my children and other employees who observed the verbal altercation. My dash cam recorded the entire incident - am going to post the entire video!!! And send a copy to corporate this happened a few minutes ago.. if I could give a minus l would!!!! Also all of my shakes were as loose as water which is an indication I’ve been given old drinks… smh think twice folks!!!!!! I’m going clean now so I’m thankful!!!!!!!
My boyfriend and I came to Cook Out late night, so of course the lines were long as everything else was pretty much closed.. The problem we had was not with the long line but it was the way that the staff were handling both of the lines. Typically what I see is an order taken from one line and then an order taken from the other drive thru line and it goes back and forth to make sure that both lines are moving.. This night, We waited an extremely long time for the staff to take our order as the other line continued to move. When the young man finally took our order, he stopped mid order and did not come back to get our remaining order even after our several attempts to get his attention through the intercom. While we waited for the young man to come back to take the rest of our order, another order was taken from the other line... which blew my mind. We spent an unnecessary amount of time at cook out and to top it off, our order was incorrect. The food is was good which is why I was able to give them 2 stars this time around.
This place is just the regular im hungry let me just stop for a bite place, its not horrible its not great its just food. The menu is laced with mouth watering amazing sounding treats but when you get it you are immediately snatched back into reality first by the size and then by the bla taste.. service was pleasant though, its just the food is only memorable for just being food! I wouldnt say yeah im going to cookout today..
This is a typical greasy spoon fast food place. Although service was slow, the food was hot and the order was accurate. The staff seemed friendly for the most part, there could have been some improvement on customer service. They do NOT have public restrooms.
Im almost positive that part of the training for cook out employees is how to mess up an order. Every time I am forced to eat at one of these places, they screw up everyones order.
Amazing shakes for like $3 and the rest of the menu is just as good and cheap. I have no idea how they stay in business at these prices.
This was the only place brave enough to stay open during a snow storm in Charlotte great burgers sand shakes but I go there for their BBQ plate and sandwich. And they don't charge extra for extra sauce.
I love the hot dogs at cook out. The drive thru was a little slow , but I really enjoyed my food.
