Went for my birthday weekend. First time customer with a party of 3. Food was great. Nice atmosphere, live R & B music. Only disadvantage was when you eat, you eating on something like a little cocktable. You have to hunch over to eat and share small space with whomever you may be with. It would be better if you had better tables to eat on and it was dark inside just like you’re in a nightclub. Also, waitress did not notify us about gratuity already included in the bill. Didn’t know until I requested a receipt.
Went to Cloud on a Friday evening around 8:20pm. It was a couple people there since it just opened but the atmosphere was a vibe. More people started coming around 10:30ish. Ordered a hookah and it lasted the entire time we were there with no refills. Well worth price. Our bartender was the BEST! Her name is London. She knows her way around the bar and makes amazing drinks! I highly recommend going to her. The food was okay, definitely overpriced but acceptable. If you’re in the city, pull up to Cloud.
My wife and I went here twice. The first time we sat at the bar and had brunch, that was a good experience. The second time we had a to-go order. They charge 20% service fee gratuity on to-go orders and don't disclose it anywhere beforehand. On top of that when we got home 20 minutes away, we discovered something was missing from the order. If you plan to charge automatic gratuity, it would be nice if it was disclosed beforehand. Additionally if you charge that automatically, the kitchen and service should match expectations.
I would like to gladly thank Cloud for showing me a great time last night and a great time for the last couple weekends. They have a great selection of music, food, and customer service. A special shout out to my bartender Larry for the last couple times I was there who had extraordinary customer service skills and a vast knowledge and talent for bartending. He was able to both make my drink correctly and efficiently while serving many other customers.
Had an amazing time at Cloud. The food was amazing, music and vibe was great. We had an absolutely amazing bartender. London took great care of us, was attentive, and was pleasant the entire evening even when she got busy! Thank you London! Appreciate you!
After seeing an review on social media, I wanted to experience it for myself. I went for Sunday Brunch, thought it was suppose to be live music and a kind of laid back environment. It was actually a club experience during the day. That was cool if you like that sort thing. I really wanted to experience the food. It was my birthday so myself and a friend went and sat for about 35 to 45 minutes with no service. I waitress did acknowledge us and confirmed that she would be right over, but then another 15 minutes went by. We just decided to leave.
I had a great evening here, the hookah was delicious, the vibe was great and lets not even talk about how great their drinks were. I had the pleasure of being served by an amazing bartender named Mariah. She was so attentive to my likes and even recommended some drinks I should try. I will definitely return to Cloud Southend to have a drink from this amazingly sweet and fun bartender.
Mannnnnn I had a great time at Cloud! I didn’t know what to expect on a Wednesday night but I will say I really enjoyed myself. Oh! I can’t forget to shout out my favorite bartender London. She did not miss! She was very friendly and every drink she made was amazing. Best customer service I received at a bar in a while. Will definitely be coming back just for her! Thank you for everything London. You a real one! :)
First time visiting this spot! Charlotte has a hot spot any time of the day! Great drinks, food, and hookah. We had Marley as our server and she was on her game the entire time. Very kind and attentive. After she left we couldn't get another server though so...that dropped the last star.
Cloud Southend was definitely a good vibe especially the bartender named Mariah. She was the bomb and customer service was Immaculate. I normally don’t drink and I wanted something on the more sweeter side. I fell in love with the drink she made for me. Will definitely come back!!
