Delicious custom made food! The build your own bowl is fantastic. Especially with the Lemon grass pork! The GIANT spring rolls are perfection. The nicest people work there too!

Not only is this place overpriced, but the quality, atmosphere, and wait time are all really bad. The only redeemable quality is that the pho wasn’t bad. It was quite good, but for $15, they really skimped on the noodles as well as the veggie plate. I received a veggie plate with only bean sprouts and a lemon. A LEMON. Lol. I’ve eaten pho my whole life and I ALWAYS use my veggies. I use my lime, thai basil, jalapeños— but I wasn’t given any of that.On top of that, my boba from the place next door which I assume are under the same ownership was terrible. Mine tasted like watered down milk. Super disappointing and a waste of money.
Had a great first time experience at Cilantro in Plaza Midwood! We got a few different options: spicy beef pho (me), calamari, 6 korean wings, 6 teriyaki wings, beef bahn mi and a custom egg noodle bowl for mi lady. Everything was delicious. Calamari wasn't the best I've had but life goes on. I got a bit full and had the leftover pho for lunch the next day - so good. Not sure if this is a family owned spot? Staff was attentive to our requests, working hard. Their to-go business was pumping out orders Thursday night. Great local spot in CLT adding culture and great food to a growing scene. I will be back pho more.
First time here, we got Bahn mi. Next time we will try the noodles. We had to wait a while for food, I think they do a lot of take out orders and it was a Friday night.
Disappointing. First time trying this place and they forgot ALL my sauces on a takeout order. I gave them a call and their response was…”sauces are complimentary so we’re not going to do anything for that.”No Sorry.Nothing is complimentary. It’s built into the price wether I use it or not. Look at the noodles in the picture, they need sauce, it’s not an “extra”.Response to owner reply: Did you read my review or just the star rating? I said you gave me NO sauce. 0… nada, so save your speech if you’re not going to read the review. You messed up on a take out order, own it.
one of my favorite go-to places! great food, friendly staff everytime i come in, and they never made a mistake on any of my orders before. usually well packaged as well for pick up and delivery
Probably the most expensive pho and summer rolls I've ever had in my life. I was a tad sticker shocked when we checked out with out meal.That said we did get filet mignon meat and I highly enjoy that way more than the regular meat used and recommend anyone coming here to splurge on it.Skip the summer rolls, not worth it at all.I also really really need places that serve pho to please give out pure fish sauce. That's such a delicious and critical aspect to a great bowl of pho!Overall it was a decent place for pho but I have other places I enjoy more. Parking was very hard here too which made it a bit of a hassle.
First off…. These are not the egg noodles you think you would get at an Asian themed restaurant. ITS FREAKING SPAGHETTI NOODLES/ ramen noodles (should say that in description. Second off….. if you order a noodle bowl do not expect it to be prepared/ cooked in a wok/ pan. Its an assembly line of add on and everything is raw. Peppers aren’t even sautéed and noodles are not tossed in sauce. This is a one and done place for me.
Literally amazing experience! Just took some friends there to show them how great Charlotte is and the food! The food did not disappoint but the phenomenal servicr received was the cherry on the top! Maya was AMAZING! She answered all of our questions and was so genuine, we gladly gave her our money as we were talking about how great the experience was even on our way home from there. Give Maya a raise, employee of the month, all the things because she went above and beyond!
