I couldn’t have been happier to stay here. The GM, Rob, was amazing and was super helpful when I called to talk about an unfortunate experience that happened previously when we stayed at hotel that was no fault of the hotel as it was out of their control. Nonetheless Rob made up for it and more. The team at the hotel was really personable and helpful. Will absolutely stay here again.

What a disappointment this hotel was. Shower was nice but the floor was incredibly slippery. Ended up hanging to put towel on floor to keep from sliding. Shower door leaked on to bathroom. More slipping and sliding. Room not serviced for 4 nights “due to covid had to take waste baskets to door and call down to desk to get them emptied. Ditto dealing with dirty towels & washclothes. And to get 2 mini bottles of water brought to room. Refrigerator, but no microwave, and NO RESTAURANT OR ROOM SERVICE. very sad $16/person per day prepackaged and microwaved breakfast. Go to diner on plaza for cooked to order meal at half the price. Garage a hot sticky maze, with hard to find entrance to hotel. Just really not worth the price. Stayed here for wedding with elderly cousin and she was miserable. Definitely not up to Marriott standards. Very disappointing. Staff were all pleasant and apologetic about lack of service. Want ice? Good luck. No icemakers “due to covid”. Could get small zip lock bag of ice if very lucky on 8th floor.but seemed like only 9 bags left a day . Just a strange, very “cheap” set up all around.so disappointing.

Minimalist but sleek hotel, clean furnishings in the room. Right across from Spectrum Center. Great shower with rainfall shower head. One thing I really liked was there is NO CARPETING in the room. Also, very quiet. Once in the room, I did not hear a single thing above, below, next to me. Elevators were pretty slow. Confusing parking is extra in the garage. Go to P4 Park on row E. Be sure to swipe the parking ticket the front desk gives you to get in and out, otherwise they may charge you again to get out after checkout. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our one day stay in Charlotte and the AC was in a great location for anything downtown. The room was medium sized with two comfortable queen beds. The room was well appointed with a large smart TV with internet TV, netflix etc. Could have used more storage space for clothes if we had been here for a longer stay. The staff was great although they were definitely short staffed. The bathroom was the only challenge. The sliding bathroom door never stayed closed. And the shower had two heads but only one worked (and the water steam was weak). Minor inconvenience though. We’d stay here again!

I've visited the hotel and to check the rooftop. Terrible experience worst service I've ever experienced. I will never come back no matter what. Terrible place with very unfriendly and rude staff. Save yourself and avoid this place. There are many other hotels in Charlotte where you can stay and enjoy.

I brought my son to Charlotte to visit family. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel and again they didn’t disappoint. Great location!! Hotel staff and accommodations were awesome! I would like to also recognize Tysha in the hotel dining. She was absolutely fabulous! She rendered excellent customer service!!! She demonstrated just how customers should be treated!! We really enjoyed our stay!! Looking forward to our next visit!

After booking this hotel one evening to tend to a family matter at the last minute I assumed after paying $250 that I would get excellent service and convenience. Wrong! Not only is it construction on the street where the hotel is ( which isn’t stated anywhere on the website) I had to walk around a city street at 1am alone. I called the hotel and was told by Sidney that she couldn’t give me directions and I had to find it myself because “she didn’t know what else to tell me” . Even after stating that I was from out of town she said the little effort she gave me was all she can do. After hanging up and finally finding the hotel I was left inside the hotel lobby doors “for security” for 18 minutes. Even tho I had just hung up and told her I was otw. There was no greeting or hello or anything. Even after I explained I was coming I was still left in the lobby doorway. Still carrying my bags from around the block. I’m am absolutely dissatisfied. I would have never chose this hotel if I had know about the construction that prevented me From using valet services. For $250 I am not impressed

I am a Marriott Titanium Elite member so I travel alot and try to stay at Marriott brands with a high level of comfort, cleanliness, and class. Unfortunately my company won't pay high prices, so I am forced to stay at hotels that sometimes that are discount and mid level.. Luckily for me the AC is not too expensive but they deliver a mid to high level experience and a good value. The AC brand is hip. The hotels follow a hip, European modern minimalist look. Starting with the bar / lounge area, they have hired and trained their lounge staff tho make great cocktails ( I love their mojito and old fashioned, and they offer many of the local craft breweries beer choices. Their menu is very reasonably priced (good Salmon dish at $16, salalds, burgers, steak at $18). You get good portions for the price. The staff is very nice and helpful. If you are Titanium level or above, you get a $10 credit voucher for food that can be used for breakfast or dinner. I used it for both at different times. Breakfast is $15. For breakfast you are offered a European style buffet and a choice of one egg dish. The espresso machine is a Neospresso with pods. Better than coffee, but they do offer coffee if you want it. The selection of croissants is nice as well as the bread and muffin choices. They offer Muesli and a creamy type of vanilla yogurt which was good. I enjoyed the breakfast. The room at the AC was identical to the AC hotels that I have stayed at other locations. The rooms all have the same color and furnishing and bathroom layouts at all their locations. If you google AC hotel room layout Time Square and go the site, the room looks identical to the one here in Charlotte except for the view is downtown Charlotte. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom immaculate, with a good offering of soap and shampoo. Not the cheap ones. You get a refrigerator with a glass door. They offer a filtered water pitcher service on each floor along with ice. Other amenities at this hotel is a well stocked gym big in size. The hotel has a rooftop bar and lounge run by another restaurant. Very hip and nice when the weather is good. The hotel is part of the Epicenter (restaurants, bars and shops in a big courtyard. Be warned, if you are here on business, you should ask if there are any events planned in the center. There is another rooftop bar across from the hotel that on Fridays does have bands that can be loud if your room is on that side. There are some good bars downstairs from the hotel as well. Also the hotel is next to the Charlotte Transportation stop for their blue line train if you want to take the train down a couple stops to the local breweries there. Ask the Concierge for recommendatsions for breweries. Noda brewery, Wooden Robot Brewery, Birdsong Brewery are 15 minutes away from that stop.

We went to a Concert and we stay at this hotel cause it is so close to the Spectrum Center Event. It is very comfortable, modern and very clean. We had a beautiful view from the 12th floor. We definable would use this place for future events.

Lobby is on the fifth floor
