I'd come here again. Headed to the airport and saw this. Place was busy but moving efficiently. sat down, quickly ordered, served, are, quickly paid. Food was pretty good. Hell off a lot better than something ordered at the airport or a fast food joint. I recommend stopping if you have an hour to kill before the airport. Flight was delayed a couple of hours so I was even happier that I stopped by.
The food looks good but IT IS NOT! THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONING ON MY FOOD AT ALL! NOT EVEN SO MUCH AS SALT AND PEPPER ON MY EGGS OR ANYTHING! There is nothing worst than getting food that looks good but taste like nothing! Then once I informed the waitress of my undesirable food she facetiouslly, offered an apology that was as bland as the food she served us. Needless to say I will not be returning.
This place is like a time capsule of 1976 they even have photos of Charlotte with no skyline of towers or condos. My my have this city has grown as your hunger.You will be satisfied as I. Welcome to Charlotte and Carolinas feast on and enjoy home cooked meal style.In the photos chicken salad, Philly cheese steak.
The food was ok, the main issue I had was the waitress was very pushy. I barely sat down and didn't even get a chance to read the menu, before being asked what I wanted, and when we said we needed a minute, she literally only gave us one minute, maybe less, before asking us again. She never gave us napkins or straws, we had to ask another waitress for those, and she was just kinda rude. The food was not the best but nothing to complain about.
The food is good and the staff is friendly. We had breakfast it was eggs, grits and bacon. All of it was good and it was served hot and on time. I recommend this place for breakfast. If your looking for a can't miss breakfast this is the place.
Today was my 1st time there and the food was awesome. Service was fast and friendly trust me add this place to your list. Pancakes are phenomenal.
The Big Burger was pretty amazing. I've been in Charlotte all my life and I didn't know this restaurant was right there. Customer Service was ok, they were about to close and I was the last person to order and my food was still fresh hot and good.
I stopped here yesterday morning. The Staff was very friendly and the service was on point. I appreciated the Breakfast Special price. It was nice to get a Good Breakfast for under $10, thats hard to find these days. Good home cooked meal. I will be a regular here.
On vacation from the north and stopped by here for a bite and to kill some time. Even though it was pretty packed, the self seating made it easy to find a tucked away table. We were greeted quickly by our server and she was very polite and attentive. Food was amazing and so so fresh. I would go back here weekly if I were a local!!
I give this a 4 only because the waitress was so sweet and accommodating. This is a Diner and served standard food. Our family went there for breakfast. It was ok. I am from NY so what I like is a bit different. I will say that if you need a decent bite to eat but working on a time frame, this place suffices.
